Nice clean water front park with good verizon service, wifi, and full hookups. Big rigs will fit but no pull thru's which is good because sites are much more private.

Great rv park on the water and within walking distance to Houghton. No bathrooms in park (well, a walk to the nearby playground) so lost a star. Great long paved sites with covered picnic tables. All sites have full hook ups and wifi

Beautiful! Quaint little town. Lot's to see and do in the area.

So so so tight on spots. Great location but no room. Manager is nice.

Great location. Right on bike/running trail going thru town. Next to public beach rec area. The campground host, Dan was very helpful in giving us a map and some great destination ideas. Better than many hotel concierge services.
Update, great base for day trip to copper harbor and back.

There's a beach nearby, the Portage Lift Bridge is in view, and there is a great park for kids next to the camping area.

Great sites - felt well-maintained and secluded. Amazing playground, and the views across the water would be hard to beat.

On the up side, this RV park is clean and has a nice view of the canal between Houghton and Hancock. After that, the negatives kept piling up. There are no showers or bathrooms, so you must be self contained. The internet had a strong signal, but never worked. The fire pits are large, but awkwardly placed and impossible to sit around. All sites are angled into full Sun, and even the picnic canopy covers face north and provide no shade. This place is only for the RV travelers that sit in the A/C and watch TV.

This is a pretty place to walk around or just hang out. It's very well maintained. There are some plaques with information about local history as well as some murals. You can see the Quincy Mine Shaft and Quincy Smelter just across the Portage Canal. It's also just off from down town, so it is at a great location.
