And the award for 'Grace Under Fire' goes to Cinco Amigos.
After the Eclipse of 2017, this small town restaurant was inundated with miserable, overheated, stressed, vacationers that were sitting in traffic for 3 hours; we should know, we were some of those cranky travellers.
On a whim to escape the hours of gridlock, we turned into this place, seeking respite from the torpor of 1/2 mile per hour driving.
We were treated to an overheated, overtaxed wait staff struggling to deal with a restaurant filled with miserable customers. Yet, without fail, the staff from owner to bus-person, were friendly and on-point. The food was top notch, and the service even better. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough, from bone numbingly cold mixed drinks to positively the best ceviche I and my Latina wife have ever had.
Good luck to this excellent establishment; we shall return every time our travels bring us within 100 miles of Cinco Amigos.

Very friendly staff and we had our 2year old twins with the 4year old daughter, who wanted to go home in Ohio. We had been on the road for 8hours and we were all tired, hungry, sleepy, and irrigated with each other. The staff welcomed us like family, calmed the children with chips/salsa/lemonade us with amazing margaritas. Prices were reasonable and food/drinks were amazing.

    Food was great
Had enchilada supreme. Margaritas were very good. Reasonably priced food and drink. And OMG the bartender is beautiful and very friendly and outgoing. Lots of regular truckers stop here at the the bar. No doubt for the conversation from the most beautiful bartender. Highly recommend.

100 health score rating. Consistent quality of food and service. Immediate seating unless they're packed. Friendly greeting by manager and employees every time. A little weird going into the hotel lobby for the restroom.

Clean, family friendly and great people! Eat here often and the service is always great. Everything I've had has been flavorful and served hot. (Careful don't touch the plates right away, they are hot)

I am a bit confused by a recent event I observed while eating at Cincos. A family came in with their 25 year old son who has Hodgkin's disease. They were staying at the hotel next door where a benefit was being held for him. They came in and ordered shots. Another gentleman asked the bartender for their tab as he was "touched" by the fact that this young man had been entering the military when he found out that he had this disease. The bartender said that he was not allowed to do that. Evidently, he went and talked to the owner and was told that it was a state law that he could not pick up their tab. I was appalled that this gentleman was not allowed to do something he felt compelled to do. I had never heard of this "so-called" law. I contacted a friend of mine who is a lawyer and was told there is no such law. I'm absolutely dumbfounded as to the reasoning behind denying this gentleman to pick up this family's tab.seems quite shady to me.
