Great food! I went there after dark so I was not able to enjoy the ocean view or sunset, but it's a great location. A bit on the pricey side I wouldn't be able to afford to go there often. It's a once in a great while/special occasion type of place. The lasagna (which was delicious) was 21.50! Total bill for two people (one appetizer, two entrees, one beer, and two gelatos) was $93 bucks. If they could lower their price point I think it would be better and they would have more repeat customers. I know I won't be going back for a long time because I can get three meals-for-two for the cost of one there. Overall though, it was a good dining experience.

Food does not live up to the price, in fact it was pretty bad. We didn't eat our leftovers. But the room does have an ocean view--across the traffic. Service was slow, even though just a few others were there. We are not going back.

Nice ambiance combined with satisfying gooda perfect combination which equals a great date night or dinner with friends. Entertainment and a full bar, too. We've eaten here many times and the food and service are consistent, which is one of my requirements in a restaurant. This place does it right.

Loved it! It's my third time taking my wife here and we have thoroughly enjoyed yet again. The food is absolutely amazing and there is so much to choose from. It's a little place so I would recommend stopping in at an off hour or quiet night.

Food was good. Although, we went with 4 people, drinks came out for two of us, the other two drinks came out 15 minutes later. Two couples order separate appitizers, one couples came out and after another 15 minute still had not received the other appitizer, ended up cancelling the appitizer. Waitress never came back to check to see about it, and it wasn't even crowded. Too many other Italian places to eat in Carlsbad to try again. Disappointed!!

Low key beach atmosphere with 5 star Italian food. Everything we had was delicious. Our favorite was the chicken picata. The best I've had. Save room for fresh cannoli for dessert. Enjoy!

Good authentic Italian dishes though lack of breads & salad offering.. Nice wind breeze from nearby sea though crossing the busy the road from parking across the street could be a bit hazardous.. Good expedient service.

It was a great evening! Food was delicious great service, friendly staff everyone made you feel welcome and at home. Daniel and his amazing voice what a range her really is very entertaining. All in all, a wonderful evening. I'm looking forward to our next visit.

Amazing Italian food with beautiful views and awesome wait staff. Authentic food and an awesome view during sunset. Do yourself a favor and go on a Friday or Saturday and listen to the Italian Opera singer. His voice is amazing!

This place has delicious food, good wine selection and some very Italian people running the place to provide a very authentic experience (I've been to Italy one time, so I should know). Ok, I'm no expert on what restaurants are like in Italy based on my two days spent there, but I do love the dang food here. They also have live music on the reg, and their house entertainer brings a lot of guest musicians up which makes it a really fun place for a date or family event.

Food is good, went mother's day weekend, and it was packed with families and Prom goers. Had the pappadelle special, very good. Our server wasn't that great, but the owner did come by and explain he's doing his best to get orders out. It is a beautiful location with outside seating a d sunset views.

I have been there twice in March 2017. Once with my best friend and once with my husband. Both times were wonderful. Foods was the best Italian I've had. Service was great. Same guy both times. Wish I had gotten his name so I could give deserved kudos. Nice view of ocean. Bathrooms, while outside are very clean. I guess just not enough room to put in restaurant/bar.

I live in Wisconsin and will fly across the country for this place.Everything is perfect. The music, the atmosphere, the food, the service, everything. This is Californias best kept secret. Make a reservation ahead of time for the music area on a Friday or Saturday night for the best experience. That's when Daniel is playing! If you can sing, let him know! This place is a blast.
