This used to be the absolute best place for a beverage and dinner in town on any night. Seriously. As of December 1st no more Curry Tots, Ghost Pepper Chicken Sandwich, or Buffalo Mac n Cheese..what are you thinking? Seriously the best dishes you had going.

Absolutely the best experience we had while visiting SD over the weekend. Very comfortable environment for a Sunday afternoon. Our waiter was pleasant and attentative. Our food was delicious and the drinks were potent!
We had previously went to a different place then decided to check out the uptown tavern. I'm glad we did. We'll be back next time we visit..

We love this place!! Every year we come for my husband's birthday. He loves their Buffalo Mac n Cheese. I love their Chicken n Waffles. It's comfort food but amped up a few notches. The service is always great. Never disappointed when we leave.

Cool vibe, but DJ needs work. He didn't transition the songs well and it made the crowd uninterested to continue dancing.

PS- when I suggested he play an Ariana Grande song he replied, "Ariana Who?"

Fun lil joint, probably tons of fun if you are looking for something with a bit of energy. Definitely not a quite speak easy type of place. Amazing truffle fries.
