This is by far one of the best burgers I have eaten in my entire life. My buddy and I are not from around the area and are always looking for new places to try food. We found this place using yelp and decided to give it a try. We walked in and noticed multiple types of beer on tap and a very nice comfortable environment. We sat down at the bar and ordered some food. The first bite I took of the burger was amazing. So I demolished it. The bartender seemed in shock when he turned back around and the burger was already gone. I will highly highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

This place was recommended from many locals to try it. Tried it and LOVED it. Now all burgers taste BLAH compare to this place. It was super busy when we went but that didn't stop the staff from giving good service.
It is a local place that it kinda makes you feel like you don't belong because everyone knows each other and the staff know most by name and they know that you are new but that didn't even stop the OG people to make us feel welcome and the best part is that they recommend some item to try.
If you are going for the first time you MUST order the ONION petals. They are the bomb
New place to add to out top 5.

Great burgers, I really liked the onion petals. Great beer selection. Good sized place for Jamul. Nice staff. Had a good sports bar/neighborhood bar feel to it. Kids are welcome. (At least for lunch)

To start off, I was pursued by a lovely lady named Pam to come to this down to earth burger joint because she knew the area very well and I was lost after a long ass hike thought the very hilly terrain. I hiked for 12 miles and 2 of those miles I was lost. I could not find my way back to the elementary school I parked at. After a whole hour of sticking my thumb out and waving people down finally a lady by the name of Pam stopped to assist me. She let me ride with her to the nearest elementary school that I knew started with a "J" that i couldnt pronounce, but it it came to find out that it wasn't the correct school. Their was another elementary school that was 3 miles down the road that also started with a "J" and I finally found my vehicle. Pam told me to definitely try out Brody's if I was hungry. I told her I was starving after a 12 mile hike. She said well your in luck they are just a quarter down the road, perfect I said. I have to say Brody's was everything I wanted and more. Good hospitality great food. Definitely recommended the "Hangover Burger" after a long hike. They also had an amazing spread of 31 different types of beers in the San Diego area. Love this place and thank you Pam solo much if you ever see this blog.

Fantastic local place with a great atmosphere. Very family-friendly. The owners and their family are often on site and are there to chat with you. The beer selection is highly curated and very good.

Brody's is awesome. Great burgers, salad, tots and the onion petals are fantastic. Unless you're a snob, you should not be disappointed.
And of course they always have a great beer selection!

The menu is limited but what they do make is done well. The burgers are a solid choice and you can customize what you want. Personally, I think the chicken breast is a better choice (probably because it is cooked in burger grease?) Regardless of what you get.get an order of the sweet tots..holy crap are they good. Anyway, not the best burger in town, but a solid choice with good service and a good beer selection. The family that owns it is very nice and deserve your business.
