  great area and nice units, except the one I am living in has possibly the worst windows. Not only are they EXTREMELY drafty, but if I don't deep clean them at least once a week, they will be black with mold. Our bedroom is constantly freezing because they are horribly insulated. That and our oven takes a million years to even get slightly warm.

  Con$- Dog crap everywhere, urine smell in the hallway stairwell that you can smell from a landing, liter everywhere, unheated pool rarely use even on a hot day, ill equipped gym, hardly any parking late hours, balconies so strict becoming a waste of space, right across the CONplex a park with a Swamp not a lake, School w teachers who can't even justify/explain what common core/moron, mediocre local businesses and restaurants.
  Pros- a gas station conviniently close so you can go and come back to this sucker pat on the back from work.
  My advice, do your homework.
  THERE ARE WAY BETTER RENTALS.
  Absolutely not worth the rental price.
  They show you a peacock and deliver a chicken. BIRD!
  If you know no better? Power to you!

  Been here since March and we love the community. The staff is super friendly and helpful. It's a great area, very clean and all the neighbors are extremely nice. The amenities are wonderful and are always well maintained. Kudos to all the staff, from office to maintenance.they are on top of things! Mention my name, hook us Up! Thank you.

  Pros: nice area, mostly clean, helpful staff and quick maintenance responses.
  
  Cons:
  -Dog crap everywhere. That's more the tenants fault than management. The only way management could enforce it is if they install 360-degree view cameras and track every dog owner as soon as they exit their unit to follow their every move and make sure that they gleefully pick up the dog crap. If you have a big horse or a little rat and you leave their crap in a community grass area where kids play, you might be an a-hole.
  -The structures resonate sound very easily. Not really management's fault, but if you have a dog that barks at everything, or if you're going to yell at your wife for not knowing the concept of NFL football, everyone will hear you.
  -The structures are also not for the heavy-footed. Not really management's fault (I don't work for management, I am just being realistic). It depends on the neighbors. If the upstairs neighbors realize that it is not courteous to do Dance Dance Revolution at 1am, then you have cool neighbors. If they don't give a damn and have stomp competitions at 2am on a Tuesday just asking for a call be made to the Chula Vista PD, then your neighbors are a-holes.
  -No security whatsoever. I had my thousand dollar mountain bike stolen from a 2nd story balcony. The perimeter fences are only meant to keep out dwarfs, but even then all they have to do is turn the knob because there is no security. There are 2 main entrances to the whole complex, one gated, and one open wider than a hospital or legs after midnight for anyone to get in. That all could use an upgrade, but it would be costly, and if done, the tenants would feel the gut punch on their rent.
  
  Overall a decent place to live. I've lived in worse, but the biggest problems the place has are the few a-hole tenants that don't respect other people.

  They stated they would post my apartment and try to lease it. It didn't happen. I now pay for a larger place third bedroom for about five dollars more than what they charge and my place is a luxury apartment. How they charge for those apartments that lack kitchen upgrades or square footage is beyond me. I have an attached garage and the amenities can not be compared. Also, the maintenance is quick! I would find another apartment or home if you are going to pay that much. I lived there for three years and I was there pre and post new management. You are being ripped off despite how nice the front office might be.
