This taco shop may not look good from the outside, but the food is pretty good. I've been here on and off for years and it's always been fine. The staff is nice and the food is usually served pretty quickly.
I usually get some type of burrito, and the rice and beans are made welland the food is served hot.
Not sure when Mayonnaise became Guacamole, but you'll definitely get that con here The pictures on the menu are definitely not indicative of the food you'll see when you get home and open up the plastic bag. I'm sure they screw people that drive through knowing they'll be far away when they discover what has actually been sold to them. The rolled taco's have a toothpick sliver of meat in them. The Cesar dressing is also Mayonnaise Cotijas is a pitiful excuse for Mexican food. It's bad and getting worse over the years It's sad when you're so busy that you can rip your customers off and people still keep coming. If it wasn't for their location, this place would be gone. My last time was today I'm out. Now over to Yelp to let more people know
Breakfast burrito real good service good blue collar go to spot will go back
Drive thru used to be quicker slow now and nobody in line and nobody in restaurants
Good food but the drive-in is odd to get in and out. If you are going to order any soups, call in advance because it takes about 10 min. Very good food!
Best CA burrito and Carne Asada fries I've ever had
Good food but the $1.49 fish tacos are only Mon-Thur and that caveat is unreadable on the sign from the drive thru.
I almost rated them a 3 since their customer service is so bad, however sometimes thier food can be decent, gave them a 4, I'm not very motivated to return to this location, however if i need to I will.
I didnt know it could of been better. It wasnt disappointing it was expected.and was good.
Excellent taste. True San Diego Mexican food which us the best in the world. I've eaten here MANY times and they have some of the best Mexican food in San Diego. Try the Carne Asada!!!
My husband and I like to come here for a quick bite. We usually don't stay and eat, we use the convenience of the drive-thru. The prices are good and the food is good. This place gets pretty busy around lunch time.
Some of their menu items aren't the best, and I'd vote lower if it were not for their salsa. I have eaten an uncountable number of salsas in my life and none compare to how good theirs is. It absolutely takes Mexican food to a whole other level. They also have the best breakfast burrito you'll ever eat if you order their Hashbrown Burrito. This is my favourite Taco shop because of these two things and I encourage anyone visiting San Diego to come here.
