They provide all types of meals as buffet style. You can enjoy Korean BBQ here too. However, don't expect good quality of food from here.
If you are looking for all you can eat korean BBQ at a cheap price. This is it! BUT, If you are not into Meat, other selections are very limited.
For me, I loved it.
This is absolutely one of my family's favorite places to eat. The meat is excellent and they have a great mix of Asian sides. We've never left unhappy with the food or service.
I literally had to throw my to go plate away as soon as I got in the car. After looking at the food that looked like it was cooked leftovers from previous days , I tasted it and it was. Terrible- bland disgusting food. Very few options . If you want noodles they are only spicy . Absolutely worst buffet I have ever been to! Don't waste time and money .
Meat sweats are real Under new management this place will flourish again, the new owners were friendly and extremely accommodating. Though it is ayce kbbq, there's many other options to choose aside from meat. After your meal, to satisfy your thirst and help digest there is traditional iced korean cinnamon tea and sweet rice beverages that you can drink till your hearts content.
Felt very awkward eating here. Staff were friendly enough but buffet food was too exotic for my tastes. A lot of raw food on the buffet & you take it to your table to cook yourself on heating elements built into your table. Nobody explained the concept to me & I problem missed out on some good Korean fare. Just picked off salad, chicken & fish cooked dishes. Dessert was awful and very limited. Not a good value for the price but like I said, I think I was missing something here. It wasn't very crowded so no reservations are needed. Probably won't ever go back again with buffet choices in abundance here in Atlanta.
We won't be going back. I thought it would be a nice experience with the staff cooking the meat at the tableit wasn't. The woman that put the food in the cooker left for such an extended period of time, that we finished what was on our plates before she came back. I began to think I should just do it myself. When we went up to get some more food, we came back to a busboy cleaning up our drinks and utensils. He brought us new drinks once I told him we weren't done but I had to ask for them, he didn't seem to know what to do. The cooker was turned off at that point, but the meat was burned. We didn't get seconds on the bbq, because of how long it took the first time. I wish I hadn't only taken a very small portion of meat to be cooked, it might have been worth it. Once we were halfway through our second small plate, the server came to us with the check and said "lunch is now over, you pay now". It's not like we had an abundance of food, we each had two very small servings so, I'm not sure why she was in a rush to get us out the door. We hadn't complained about anything, in fact we didn't even interact other than say thank you, so that wasn't it. Besides, it was actually 15 minutes before the end of the lunch time. The food itself wasn't anything to write home about, one item I ate I could only describe as slightly flavored lawn clippings. The sushi was pretty good though. I should have eaten more of that, it may have justified the $36 bill.
What sets this Korean barbecue place apart from other All-You-Can-Eat joints is that you get the meat yourself. Everywhere else, they give you the meat in small portions, and then you have to wait for them to bring it ever so slowly. Not here - you go to the huge vats of fresh kalbi, beef bulgogi, chicken, pork, and shrimp to put on your plate. Take your plate back to the table, and the waitress put it on the grill and cooks it for you. Plus, there's a Korean food buffet and sushi bar included in the price. It's just phenomenal. It's $18.99 on weekends, but cheaper on weekdays (the weekday lunch at $13.99, no shrimp, is the real bargain). This place is a MUST VISIT restaurant. We go almost every other week.
Don't waste your time and money. The staff seems confused on what to do. Oh I just got my bill and the waitress told me any party of 4 or more is an automatic 15 percent tip. I am a good tipper but they should explain this prior to seating. Food sucks all the meat is seasoned sweet. No true flavor. Low quality meat. The only thing I liked, was the was the cinnamon drink.
Food quality was poor as well as the service. Buffet table for hot foods did not keep the food items hot. I will not recommend
Good Price with a great variety of meat! I was introduced to "korean bacon" here. Fatty but delicious! If your not a picky eater try it.
My first visit to Cho Won Buffet was on a Friday afternoon. It was not very busy, so we sat right down and hit the buffet. We had the beef and spicy pork, with onions, peppers, and a few different kinds of kim chi. A very nice lady cooked and cut the meat for us at our table. We also tried the sushi, which was a little different from other sushi restaurants, but was very good. I look forward to visiting here again.
