Despite raves to the contrary, portion sizes were not huge but adequate. Good flavor, country fried steak outstanding. Scones also worth the trip. Rating downgraded due to hash browns, which indeed were potato patties fried then chopped, very disappointing.

The chicken fried steak with a scone will fill up the largest appetite. Their buck wheat pancakes are great too. Good food, good service.

Always been a good place to sit down and eat. I never regret coming here. Just about everything here scream "little town dinner" and tastes better than you would think.

My only problem I have ever had, is that the staff doesn't always wear gloves when handling food to plates.

Aside from that, glad I had this place around during my time in Heber. Thanks guys!

As a local, I have been here many many times before! Love the easy choices on the menu, you don't get over whelmed by a ton of options, it's simple but delicious! Friendly staff and fast service.

If you're wondering where the locals eat, this is it. Chicks serves homemade comfort food in large portions. No visit is completed without ordering a scone. Most meals come with it as an option and I highly recommend it, and the honey butter served with it. Yummy.

Quite a disappointment after having so many people telling me to try this place. The meat on the cheeseburger looked like about the the cheapest thin piece of beef you could buy and was completely overcooked. To be fair though, it's pretty hard to cook a burger that thin without over doing it. Now for the items this restaurant is known for; the chicken fried steak / chicken and the scones. But again, these were more than disappointing. The fried steak and chicken were both overcooked and even burned on the bottom. The scones had a very noticeable flavor which was not good. It was clear the same oil was used to cook all the items and was not being changed regularly enough to prevent all the unappetizing mixing of the flavors.

Chicks Cafe is what it is a family run throwback to times past. Good food. Friendly staff. Great prices. It's not fancy. It's not a chain. And that is why you should eat there. BTW - The ham and eggs breakfast is a ☆☆☆☆☆ breakfast. Get it with a scone and a Charlie's chaser of maple syrup for the full experience.

I really like this place. The food is great, nice portions, nothing fancy. The staff is very nice, but not overly nosy. It’s reasonably priced and very cozy. We’d definitely come again.

Good home cooking. I go at least twice a month and try to get something different each time. Got the tall stack today and forgot how big their pancakes are. Wow I barely made it through one!!!

My family and I used to go here every Saturday morning until we moved from the area.
Their buckwheat pancakes are amazing and huge! Plus the homemade cinnamon rolls are a must, they top it with butter not low calorie but worth it.

The food was tasty! The restaurant definitely has a small-town feel to it. Our server was kind and had great recommendations for lunch. The food was made fresh to order so because of that it did take a little bit longer however it was well worth the wait. Definitely recommended!

The food is great I usually get the bacon and eggs with diced potatoes what I call (home fries), good large portions. Probably the best breakfast in town for a mom and pop restaurant/cafe, better than the hub hands down. I give them 5 stars.
