Been coming here for the last 15 yrs. Great place with great variety & food. Drinks are also great & cheap.

Chi Tung is one of my favorites. Especially the Hibachi, and the Lunch Buffet coming on second. Haven’t had a bad meal yet. My 13yr old son and I are addicted. We know all the staff, and they know us. Sushi is high priced, didn’t enjoy the first time I had it. The Hibachi chefs are very entertaining. There is a 15% gratuity already added, which isn’t a big deal to me, because you should tip(that’s the stand amount) anyway, and you can always complain to the manager if there’s something you’re really unhappy about. My recommendation is to make a reservation if your going to do the Hibachi. You’ll pretty much walk right in and not have to wait 30-40 minutes .

My family and I always come here to enjoy the hibachi and never had a problem until now. I don't know if the cook was new or not but since it was sunday and as usual the place was packed but the cook rushed our food. My brother and I had the chicken and salmon combo but our salmon was half cooked and we didn't realize it until we had almost consumed the whole thing so we were basically eating raw fish. The cook did put the half eaten remains back on the grill and the other family found that to be unsanitary. The chicken was dry and had no taste as well. The cook was nice and all but we were very displeased and disappointed about our food and still had to pay full price.

Beautiful restaurant. Fantastic staff. However, the Chinese dishes were a bit bland. Don't get me wrong! I probably would rate this place a 4 or 5 if this was my first Chinese food experience, but it pales in comparison to the Chicago Chinatown dishes. They also seem to use way too much sauce on the Chinese dishes. This is definitely a great place to dip your toes into the world of Chinese,but keep in mind that there is so much more.

My first experience here was deceiving. I first thought I had made a mistake coming here because the atmosphere was of a 2 star restaurant and the water tasted funny. But, after tasting the food, i rescinded on my first impression. The prices were decent but the food tasted delightful and the portions were great! Dimly lit restaurant but it works if you like cozy or romantic atmosphere.

One of the best Chinese Tai restaurant's I have been to. The food is great and they give you a lot. Depending on if you do the hibachi Grill which is kinda pricey but wroth it, The prices are far. Nice place for the family, To take the kids(Hibachi) and to take someone for there Birthday. Good food, Good drinks and very nice staff. My name is Markus and I approve this message 😉

Amazing first experience for my boys. We definitely will be back. Portion sizes are generous. The dragon making roll was superb. And the house salad and soup we're refreshing.

Best Chinese food in the Chicago land area. My favorite appetizer is the shrimp toast. They have the best egg rolls, you will never find their equivalent, ever. The sushi is spectacular. The lunch buffet offers a good variety. If you want hibachi, make a reservation, everyone in your party must be there to be seated. I recommend everything on the menu.

We went on a Thursday afternoon and sat in the regular dining room (no hibachi). There was no wait at all (even though they were super busy). As soon as we sat down we had water, tea and a little salad looking thing on our table. The server was super fast. The thing that took us the most time was choosing our plates. There are SO many options (Chinese, Thai, and Japanese).
We barely had to wait for our food to come out. The plates are very reasonably priced and the portions are HUGE. We each got three meals out of each plate. They also bring you a really yummy cookie AND a fortune cookie at the end of your meal. I will be coming back to this restaurant often!response / report this review -

Had a great time eating lunch with friends. They have a grand variety of mealso to choose from. The serving portions are large and their is always leftovers to enjoy the next day. Service is excellent and environment in exceptional taste. Thank u for a great time.

We eat Chi Tung at least 1X a week! It's fresh, delicious and very generous portions. The egg rolls are so delicious that you have to eat 2! Go in for the Hibachi grill and watch them perform their magic on your dish! Always fresh and always delicious! Be prepared to wait for a table, but it's well worth it!!!

I really like the area, the service, the staff are extremely polite, and the food is good. I didn't much care for the buffet bar, not a great variety of choices. But overall I am impressed.

Okay, the last time I went here was nearly two years ago and it was great.
NOW, it was terrible!
The parking is terrible, and very limited. The seating inside seems to have gotten tighter, resembling the parking lot. You are almost on top of the party sitting next to you, I mean NEXT to you.
My party was sat next to the window with some dusty freaking blinds.
We sat there for at least 20 minutes before our server Anna came around.
Anna was rude as hell, she was basically barking at us to get our order out.
As we asked additional questions Anna walked away from us as we were SPEAKING!!
No dish recommendations, no "thank you" for the tip.
The food was okay but not the great taste I remember.response / report this review
