Best Marina in the area. They rescued me two times when I had guests and my boat was not working. They literally will meet you on the lake if your boat fails and fix your problem,. Lou Jr. also has some great fishing advice if you are after the big Muskies. Store your boat with them also. Many years of great service from this group. You also get reduced gas pricing if you keep your boat with them!
WARNING ONLY COME HERE IF YOU WANT TO BE SCAMMED!!!
We went out and we thought that everything was fine and the piece to hold the awning broke and hit my friend, after that we decided to go in and then they tried to charge us for the "damage" that was done to propeller, after a lot arguing they said that there was actually
no damage to the propeller. and then they tried to charge damage from where the awning fell off and then one of the managers said that my MOM cursed at their staff which she would never do especially in front of her son her mom and her sons friend.
As i can see costumer service is not in their list of priorities!!!
Very customer focused.
Easy access to gas docks, no restaurant
I worked 100% through email with the President of the marina and had an exceptional experience. He was very easy to work with and very helpful.
I would highly recommend this marina!
This is a GREAT place to rent a pontoon boat! We had an fabulous time today. Rented a boat for 4 hours. The boat was clean, really nice cushy seats, canopy, etc. Can hold up to 10 people. We had 7 and it was the perfect size. We cruised the lake, went swimming off the boat and had lunch. Lovely time. The people at the marina were very friendly as well.
Yes, you have to pay when you reserve the boat and you can't cancel. But, we just waited to make sure the weather would be nice and booked a friday not the weekend.
Exorbitant pricing policies. Tried to rent a kayak and found the following: (1) they charge roughly 40% more for a multiday rental than their local competition; (2) they don't calculate on a 24 hour basis for daily rentals, so if you pick up a kayak at 4:45, congratulations, your first full "day" is 15 minutes long; and (3) their delivery fee is $250, a full five times that of the above-mentioned local competition. Moral of the story: don't rent a kayak here.
We came from Erie, but not before caking first. They said that they would have kayaks back in at 1. We showed up at 230 and they said they would have them back at 4. I asked if they were going to go back out again and they said no. I asked them if they had a schedule for when they went out and they said no. Not convenient for a day trip - maybe its better if you are staying there for a weekend and can just ride over.
We are regulars at the Marina in summer and had a really bad experience recently. The manager yelled and screamed at us for damaging two of his jet skis when we had not done it. He wanted us to pay for both and the damages he was pointing out were not consistent with his story of how we damaged the jet ski's while pulling them in. He asked for money and when we asked for an explanation of why and how we could have damaged the skis without an accident, he called the cops. We started taking pictures of the damages he was claiming as they were totally on the other side of the boat and was proven to be impossible to create per his story. He summoned his crew and and asked them to write statements. He also changed the story that the jet skis hit on the water instead of at the dock. The spotter clearly said he did not see anyone hit on the water. Luckily for us when the sheriff got there and the argument ensued, the contradictory statements from the crew saved us from any further harassment. However the manager did make racist comments in front of the two sheriff's and managed to get by without any action.
We wasted 2 hours in the whole argument and cops getting there and everything
DEFINITELY DO NOT RENT HERE especially JET SKIs and if you can be easily discriminated based on your race.
