Very clean business and practices. Positive and helpful front desk clerks were a plus. The way in which they handled animals made me smile. This is a nonprofit shelter.

Went there Sunday and asked about a dog and was informed that he would have to do foster because his health issues and then we would be able to adopt. Wasn't able to see him because he needed be in a low stress environment. Checked on another dog which the website stated is good with all ages but staff informed otherwise stating the same dog could not be in a home with children under 15. I will not go back. Will look at surrounding areas instead.

We got our dog from here and he's the best thing that ever happened to me so I can't rate them too lowly. I do with they did a bit better job of learning about their dogs so they can be appropriately adopted out to the right homes. The second dog we got from them had resource guarding issues we didn't know about and with kids in our home I wasn't comfortable with it. She also didn't like our first dog. We had to take her back due to us being a bad fit for her and it was hard on us. Also, we brought our first dog home from here the same day he was neutered and they didn't send pain meds home with us, and he was in considerable pain. He also ended up having one of the worst cases of tapeworms my vet has seen in quite some time, and that was expensive to treat. He was having considerable diarrhea at the shelter when we first met him, so I'm not sure why the shelter didn't check into it more. Overall though my experience has been this is kind of the way it is with most shelters and you have to be patient and ready for the financial costs. In the end it was all worth it for our dog, because he is the joy and light of my life!

I adopted Mia today and we are now great friends. She is a snuggler, especially around my neck. Thank you for letting me adopt her today. She is going to have her first vet check, next saturday. She is now sleeping on my chest. Thanks to all the staff that was there today.

Doing great job with animals, the place is clean and smells good.
They helped us to foster 2 adorable kittens one week old.
It is a good experience with a lot of care needed for the kittens.
But I and my kids learned a lot.
They provided us with the food,litter. ..and everything.
