Reconstruction of the lake on progress. Finished as we speak. Still have camping and other amenities available (hiking). One of the best county parks around.

This place is awesome there's great fishing spots but right now they're just they drain the pond to clean it out make it deeper and they then put the fish back in but right now there's a second Pond you can fish at and they're also making the swimming area bigger and better and there is a park there there's trails to ride your bike trails to walk on in the forest it is a really great place to go camping and I would recommend it

Beautiful rural camping and picnicing spot. The lake is currently drained and being deepened and a larger swimming area developed. It should be ready to go again next summer. In the meantime it's still a gorgeous spot for a day trip to rural Iowa.

The park is nice but currently drained so the beach is closed and no fishing. The bathrooms are nice. The drive in can look like your going to the rangers house.

I've only driven through here to check out the park, but it looks like a very nice park. The prairie planting on the drive in was in full bloom and the lake looks like a nice place to spend the day. The trails seem very nice and there are plenty of camping spots. I'll be back to check it out more thoroughly.

Been going there for 17 years now. Love the place. Now that they are finally working on bettering the lakes up. It'll be great.
