I had a great time visiting my mother and stepdad with my little family. (My 1.5 year old, boyfriend, and myself.) I liked the room they had, it was pretty cozy. But when we went to the pool, I was a bit disappointed. It was a lot smaller than I was expecting. And there were a lot of older kids without parents, jumping in the pool continuously. I know for the most part its at fault of the parents, but rules should be enforced to have parents present. Also The water was freezing. Super cold. We couldn't enjoy the pool long because my toddler got cold really fast.

The beds were super comfy!!! Nice clean room! The front desk lady was super helpful. I believe her name was Kim.

Great value for the price. Decent breakfast. Pool stairs are very slippery but the pool itself is small and nice. Coffee is weak 😕

Very nice people. Our room was clean but the bathroom ceiling was coming down at the wall. There were several major repairs to the walls and ceiling throughout that warranted a new uniform finish to pull it back together. The TV remote didn't work. Maybe just needed batteries. Breakfast was good except the gravy for the biscuits is packaged process which they should replace with some other brand. Overall it was a nice stay.

Nice place! They have a bar inside open in the evenings. Great drinks and place to hangout. In door pool and guest laundry. The only thing is they do not have an Elevator. Which is fine for me, but othersmaybe not so much. They do offer help with your bags up the stairs if needed. (:

The only thing Baymont is the name. Front desk lady very very nice. The room left a lot to be desired for the price. The "heated" pool wasn't. The bottom of the pool has gravel.
The towels felt like sand paper. No microwaves in the rooms.

YOU NEED TO READ THIS (See photos): I'll be brief - My company made reservations for several employees to stay here for a few months during July & August. During this time, cable reception kept going out, premium channels were nearly nonexistent. The owner was so cheap that he opened the windows in the hallways so the 80° - 90° breeze would "cool" the halls. Always out of food items in the breakfast area, cold food items were at or near room temperature. The laundry room was filthy, "secure" entry (swipe card) doors never locked, fire extinguishers in the halls were missing, odors galore, etc I reported part of the ceiling coming down in the stairwell it took two weeks for them to clean it up. Addressing your concerns to the owner was pointless. He always made excuses and never took ownership. Don't waste your time, don't waste your moneystay away, just stay away.

Room was clean but a little cramped. We didn't originally book here but got a room when our first booking turned out to have bed bugs. Housekeeping staff was friendly and accommodating. Front desk was friendly. Breakfast could have used a few more choices but what they had was good. Pool water was a little cloudy but smelled clean, was reasonably warm and there were plenty of towels.

I enjoyed my experience at this hotel. My family and I read/heard about the reviews online for the hotel and laughed about it. My experience is the main reason for the 5-star rating. The beds were good. The smell in the suite was odd, but I didn't mind it too much. I think it was similar to that of mildew. However, the swimming pool seemed to be fit only for children. There was also an outlet right next to the air conditioner that was broken up/exposed. The location is fine. It was on our way to the location that we rented out. The service was also fine, there wasn't very much trouble.

This is one of the worst and most overpriced hotels I've ever stayed at.

To be fair I bumped into this place on 4th of July weekend, so availability was tight - I'll admit to that much. I kept skipping the ~70 dollars range hotels because I thought they would be crappy, and I wanted to avoid the $130 stay at more decent By Marriot or something along those lines because it was a surprise stay in the city. So I let myself be convinced to stay at the Baymont Inn -whose image and logo alone gave a bad feeling- but it was a $100 a night hotel, and pictures here on Google seemed decent; at least beds didn't look like taken out of an 80's porno. I figured this could be middle ground But no, this was simply a $65 hotel priced at $100 for reasons I still fail to comprehend.

Staff were extremely friendly, so my quarrel is not with them at all, staff was warm. But this hotel is NOT worth the money.

The first thing you find odd about it is this strange smell in the halls, which I like to believe is the result of some strong disinfectant used on the carpet. As you continue to walk through the halls you notice doors look chipped and somehow you're strangely aware of just how hollow and cheap they are, if that makes any sense.

As you walk into the room you're greeted by the same cheap-looking doors and another unidentifiable smell that again, I told myself was some strong chemical used to kill things and not something biological in nature - that helped me sleep at night. You'll find a bed decent enough but you'll notice the furniture is scratched or chipped, the fridge once white is now tainted with a yellowish parlor, and your A/C that although quieter than most happens to be surrounded by a white crooked wooden frame with horribly evident screws that seems to have been made out of scrap wood taken from someone's curbside giveaway trash.

As my wife took a shower, the shower head started spraying water from the top and splashed everything on the bathroom, getting her cellphone (which was sitting by the a sink), towels, clean clothes and toiletries wet. By the time she noticed this there were puddles of water everywhere and her things were soaking wet. One can only wonder "How was I supposed to know my cellphone would get wet OUTSIDE of the shower?!" - this is how

Before I got to this hotel I realized there was a Holiday Inn about a mile and half away, so I called and to my surprise they had rooms available. $119 for a room VS $100 here at the Baymont Inn - had I known this is the kind of room that money would get me, and had I been able to cancel, I would have paid the extra $20 at the HI, which has a much better precedent.

This hotel would be OK if it was priced accordingly. I wouldn't mind the strange smell on the halls and the rooms, the scratches on the furniture, the green sticky stuff growing on the door knobs, the crooked bathroom doors that won't shut properly, the blinking lights or the completely unexpected wet bathroom if I had paid $70 for it - I would have expected these things..

If you happen to be considering staying here, and their prices are down, by all means be my guest. You're getting what you're paying for and that's a completely acceptable and transparent transaction between you and the establishment. But if their rates are anywhere near a hundred dollars, then do yourself a favor and add the extra 25-30 bucks for a self-upgrade to a nicer hotel, at least there you'll feel like it's worth it and you won't leave feeling like you got ripped off or like you could have put 100 bucks to better use.

Indoor pool very small, no one monitors the pool area, building needs updates, vending machines do not work. Only bonus is the bed is comfy.

I don't know why the reviews are so bad here. I am really satisfied with the room and the staff from the managers to the staff. Due to work I stay there 4 to 5 nights a week. I won't stay anywhere else for the value I get.

It's Ok! More like a super8 and not a Baymont. Breakfast was good though. I would probably stay again as there is not much better in the area for Wyndham hotels.
