  This guy is the worst so called dr I have ever meet. My first meeting with him was an entire 3 minutes where he confirmed with me my injury WAS a WORK related injury. He ordered 3 steroid shots for me before surgery to help with pain but his staff screwed that up. I asked to see the dr but he never has time to see you or talk to. After surgery this so called dr wanted a $500 cash payment from me before he would write me a letter for the workers comp board. I refused to pay and workers comp decided against me because this so called dr would not write the letter without his cash payment. DO NOT GO TO THIS GUY or any of them there

  The first meeting with him took 45 minutes of sitting in one of the designated rooms, his visits are extremely short but to the point. He seems to now his field but doesn't seem to have much time for you. I decided to go through the surgery with him "Laminectomy" with stem cell fusion. The surgery went great as far as I can tell. Now Forward to recovery and each Doctors visit with him. Over the three months of recovery I was scheduled to see him 3 times with my progress update of a new X-ray and its findings , well you never see him instead you see his PA. She is very nice but can never answer any questions. On the second recovery visit he popped his head in and I asked if I could get a different brace and he said he would order me a better smaller one that would fit me better. 2 weeks later no brace yet so I called his office because I never got the brace, his Nurse said she would take care of it and make sure it got ordered and to me. I NEVER got it after that so thank god I bought my own online, some copper fused brace. Third visit three months later on a Tuesday and I have a ton of questions for him. Once again it's his PA, so I asked her all my questions and she tells me she will speak with him in two days "Thursday" and call me with the answers, I also asked for a copy of all the X-rays and she looked like I just asked for her phone number, you mean no one that's ever came in to this office after a surgery Asked for a copy of their X-rays so they could compare them, well she showed them to me on here I-pad so. Could take a picture of them with my phone. So after 10 days from that last visit No call at all answering my questions that she couldn't answer. It's now the following Friday a week and 3 days later. So I call their main line and of course you never get a human so I have to leave a message and now it's another week and still no call back. I am an extremely active gentleman and still have no clue what I should be doing 3 months after surgery. So what you can take from this is, great surgeon but horrible at taking care of his patients afterwards.

  This entire office is amazing. The receptionists treat me like family. Caitlin always deals with my questions with such kindness; she makes me feel at ease when I need something. Dr. Schied is so knowledgeable and put me at ease. I am lucky to see Alex Carangelo almost every time I go in, and he has been nothing short of a godsend, helping me since my surgery. I fully recommend this entire practice.

  Wait time is next to none!! As a new patient we were in and out in 45 minutes including 2 x-rays and a visit with the PA and Doctor!!
  
  Very attentive to patient needs and care. Had refreshment car going around giving out water coffee and crackers.
  
  The paperwork was lengthy, but one time and it's done!

  From the very first appointment, Dr Schied was prompt about seeing me. I was scheduled with in a couple of weeks, not months. Waiting time in his office was minimal as he and his staff were very efficient. Dr. Schied met with me each appt and was very direct and decisive. He answered questions and accommodated me when I needed cortisone injections, having traveled 3 hrs to his office. He later performed a spinal fusion on my lumbar region L5 S1. I am now in recovery and very happy with his care. Looking forward to complete recovery!

  Extreme lack of service. Critical physician error. Lack of follow through care. Lack of appropriate testing when patient ill after surgery. Do not recommend!
