If you enjoy skiing or snowboarding this is the place for you. You can visit in summer or in the winter. The only reason that this place doesn't have 5 stars is that the lift lines are always long.

Wow love love love this place have been going for 20 years in the winter and just (finally) went in the summer this past July. It was fabulous !! Perfect weather, mountain biking, hiking, zip lining, Great food and fun! And well, back to winter: greatest snow on earth. We always stay at The Grand summit which is steps from the Orange Bubble express lift (ski in / ski out).

Park City / Vail Colorado prices bring luxury for a price. The village is well taken care of, and they staff is always moving around making sure everything is just right. I was there for a conference, and if the conference had not paid for my meals and made arrangements for hotel prices to be lower, I would not be able to stay at a place like this.

The steam room, pool, and owners' club are slick. It's a pretty plush resort. I have connections so I don't know anything about prices, though.

This resort has a wide variety of amenities. The resort is going to have some of the best accommodations for the Park City Utah visitor.

I would give this place 1 star because it is SOOO quiet and small. For years they have been trying to be a reasonable base area but have not been successful. I kind of wish they had embraced the local's ski hill approach instead and just tried to be small. Maybe one good thing about being bought by Vail is that they will actually properly develop the base.

I love Canyons. It is typically less busy during ski season than the Park City side of Park City Resorts. My only complaint is the food is crazy expensive, but that's kind of expected at a big ski resort. You can park down at the entrance for free and take the lift up to the base or pay for VIP parking at the base (I think $20 bucks last time I went) if you are pressed for time or want to hit the slopes immediately.

I have a great time, every time I'm at the Canyons Village. Great music all year round. It's fun to ride the little gondola from the parking lot to the village. Several great fire pits with seating all around to enjoy in the winter. They even offer smores to all the ski school kids at the end of their ski lessons, using the fire pits to warm up the marshmallows.

This is a review for the ski school at Canyons. My boys, aged 12 and 14-took lessons last week and it was awesome. The ski instructors in general are really exceptional.

I have been to other resorts in UT and some had instructors that were not really interested in teaching the kids, and also it was nerve wracking when they got on the lifts. At canyons-they are really so much more solid, I feel like my kids are safe with competent people, and having fun (and learning!).

A special shout out for their instructor, BEN HENDERSON-my kids loved having you as their teacher! He is great, recommend you to request him :)

I love this base area! Its much nicer then the Park City Base. The convenience of staying at the Grand Summit or Sundial Lodge is great! It so nice to come down from skiing all day and sit around the fire pits. Drinking a beer or hot chocolate from the umbrella bar. Just relaxing and hanging out with friends or family. The shops and restaurants that are in the village are amazing as well. The people that work in them are very helpful and friendly. I live down in Salt Lake and have to say parking there is so easy. Whether you're on vacation or just coming up for the day. I would highly recommend checking it out!
