While all the other busy restaurants declined to accept customers early evening, we were fortunate to get a table at the Cantinetta Luca. Feeling the spirit of family run business, we felt this is a casual dining arena. We were extremely happy with the food quality. My roasted lamb was tender with the right amount of grease at the right temperature. The servers were very polite and tendering. Worthy of another visit.

Great food. Daily pasta special was generous and tasty. The octopus was good too. Wines are expensive. No real "cons" will return of we ever go back to Carmel.

Food was pretty good, not spectacular. I had the Bolognese and felt like it was a tad too salty. Our waitress didn't have a good grasp on the wine menu which lead to some frustration with our party. The pizza was good as was their salads.

Amazing cocktails, great food. I recommend a seat at the back counter where you can watch all the action in the kitchen. And the steaksbest ever.

Food was good, portions are small but ok. The bad part was that we waited over an hour for our food and when we arrived the restaurant had probably 3 other tables, all for nothing more elaborated than pizza and pasta.

Food was great, service was acceptable. Our meal must have been forgotten as it took nearly an hour to receive it. Very disappointed considering the cost and upscale ambiance. Everything was delicious however.

They have implemented an absurd policy. They require a credit card down PAYMENT just to reserve a table and if you cancel with less than 24 hrs to go you get charged for the reservation regardless of you ate there. I'm a local and have been going here for years. I WILL NO LONGER GO HERE ANYMORE due to the principles of this policy. There are plenty of other great restaurants don't give these thieves your money!
