Spent thanksgiving there with my family
The views are amazing. We had the holiday special and they offered dark or white meat and also just the fixings. We had butternut squash soup that was smooth and sweet. It was really busy with over a 45 minute wait.
    $$$.

Fantastic salad bar with items you'll rarely see elsewhere such as hearts of palm. I ate lobster and salmon here and would choose this restaurant over many others in the Santa Cruz area. The service is excellent as well. And the ocean view is a plus. You do have to pay for parking but that's the breaks. Consider it part of your tip.

Wednesday is all night happy hour with 1/2 off appetizers. It's almost always packed. So be prepared to wait. Good selection of appetizers, beer and wine. They have a good amount of outside table seating. But you may need to wait or make sure to come as early as you can to get it.

Consistent over the years. Great view. Mostly passable service. Decent food. Always crowded. Good values available during the week. #saladbar

Beachfront restaurant. Prices on par considering. Good food. Place is always busy and the service is friendly, but one server shy of good, especially if you sit outside. Portions on par. The happy hour portions are small and overall doesn't save you much.

The Crows Nest Restaurant is a wonderful place to meet a friend for lunch or dinner, or just to come and have fun with colleagues or family. The drinks here are wonderful and the food nicely prepared. Enjoy the view of the harbor while sipping a cocktail and eating some appetizers on the second floor. The patio is wonderful as well on a nice day. Enjoy!

Aside from the amazing and tasty food and drinks, the service here is absolutely terrible! Never in my life have I ever been treated so horrible at a restaruant for no reason at all. Came here for lunch one day while visiting the city from out of town and everyone here was very rude! All of the servers and the wait staff made it seem like we were putting them out just to place our order! The only nice person in the whole establishment was the bartender, Scott. His drinks were very good, and his service was impeccable! If only they could get their servers and staff in order.

Great location on the channel leading into the harbor. The food is good but offset by the inefficient unfriendly staff.

Seating is not a problem. The hostess tried several spots before we found a suitable spot.

The waitress was slow, didn't know much about the menu, and took quiet offense at our questions. The kitchen must be nearly a mile away because her trips back to the kitchen to ask for help took 10 minutes, each.

Management is obviously not hiring based on a deep service industry resume but on looks.

Perfect place to eat right on the water. Window views are amazing of the water and boats coming into the harbor. Dress code casual, but you can dress up if you wish. Food was delish!

Excellent view, environment, customer service, awesome clam chowder and shrimp avocado cressant sandwich, YUMMY!!. Spinach salad looked good but tasted bitter, not sure why. LOL not sure why have 8 toilet paper rolls on the stall wall. I will love to return and try out other menu choices.

The staff was very friendly. Made sure that everything was good. The view to the ocean is amazing. My fiance and my future mother in law love their food. We had a great time

Nice restaurant on the beach at the end of the Santa Cruz harbor.

Full Service restaurant downstairs that is/was fitting for a prom date or birthday dinner.

Second floor bar area with more seating inside and out. Great views of the lighthouse and harbor entrance.

My Favorites are the Smoked Salmon, Fish and Chips and the Tuscan Chicken Sandwich.

Entertainment throughout the week, watch the Sailboat races on Wed, come to the free Thursday night beach parties and Comedy night on Sunday.
