An absolutely MASSIVE selection of near every candy you can think of! Plus souvenirs, magnets, even dried crickets if you're feeling adventurous or looking for a bar snack ;)

This store has just about everything a candy-lover could want. There is a wide variety of "old-time" candy intermixed with new delights. I come from the East Coast and always got taffy when we went "down the shore", so every once in a while I feel the need. This store has an astonishing variety of fresh taffy. All the usual favorites are there, plus some unique: pickle and chicken 'n' waffles for example. The store owner. Darrin, is worth visiting even if you're not a candy lover. His wicked sense of humor and wonderful customer care are legendary. A must-visit in Old Sac.

Such a cute and unique store. There are TONS of different candies to choose from - chocolates, gummies, s’mores, even crickets! There’s a HUGE section of taffy with insane flavors such as maple bacon, popcorn butter, mango chili, peanut butter and jelly, and so many more. The taffy costs $5.50 or so per 1/2 pound. Other stuff have slightly different prices per a certain weight but they are reasonable! The line to pay may look long but moves pretty fast. They used to do free samples but not anymore since the pandemic. A must visit while in Old Town Sacramento!

So much to see and choose from. That's not a bad thing. The gentleman behind the counter was very helpful and rather pleasant. I really appreciated his demeanor. It made it fun to be there. Just as a side note you can purchase the baskets that You used to collect your goods, the large or the small. I purchased a small one for a very reasonable price to package and present the gift I was putting together. I wish I would have taken some pictures.
