The Candlewood Suites in Burlington, MA faces Middlesex Turnpike but the entrance is actually off 2nd Avenue. There are some small signs directing you to the entrance but there could be more. It’s located in a corporate park. You can easily walk to a Wegmans supermarket, a bowling alley, several restaurants and Bedford Farms ice cream shop. While the room was comfortably appointed with an adequate kitchen, living room and bedroom there were some issues. Lots of small pieces of paper on the carpet in the hallway going down to the room. No one ever seemed to care that they were there. Our stay in October saw temperatures hit upper 70s. While you can open windows in the suite you cannot open very wide. The AC system was very noisy and not efficient and no directions in the room about how to operate. There is a unit in the living room below the window, but controls/ thermostat are on the wall by bedroom. Small vent in bedroom feeds in a small amount of air from living room unit. No separate unit in bedroom. Bedroom was stuffy even with noisy AC running set at 68 degrees. The bathroom was spacious, however, the hot water was almost nonexistent. The tub did not drain properly. You had to pull the drain up with your hands to help the water drain out.

I'm Spirit elite with this Hotel chain. By far this is the Worst of the Worst of hotels I have stayed in. It's freezing, toilet is from 1890s. Carpet smells. Every hour the heater turns on the hallway make some crazy noise. the person above me just walks the whole night. Everything is FROM 1890s. I thing this was Motel 6 before. Better go to Extended Stay and you will save more. And sleep better. THIS IS AWFUL..

There is so much construction that the entrance is difficult to find (and) believe. The staff was competent, neither positive or negative in tone. The room was clean. The atmosphere was comfortable. The bed was excellent. Temperature control was great. A comfortable place surrounded by horrible construction.

Price was right. It doesnt have things like a breakfast or free ammenities at the front desk (toothbrush etc you have to buy if tou forgot one) but i would stay there again. Kitchenette in the room was nice.

Booked early one morning for that night. Showed up a few hours before check in and they were very accommodating to let us check into an available room right away. The room was directly across from the laundry and workout room(one room for both). Even being that close to a frequently used space I slept great. My husband did say there were some other residents making some noise around 2:30am on a Saturday night but late in August I can't complain for being trying to enjoy every last minute of what's left of summer. Would definitely stay again =)

Very disappointed with this hotel. The staff is polite and helpful but the noise both outside and inside this room is horrible. Every night we are stuck listening to a tremendous amount of noise above us on the second floor (sounds like they are moving furniture). And, the last two mornings, we have been woken up before 8am with their landscaping crew blowing leaves or shoveling dirt off the pavement two feet from our window. We've been here three days and I can't wait to leave.

Decent hotel but it's 'limited service', so no breakfast, weekly limited housekeeping etc. The bed had a stain and when they requested it, the new sheets had hairs on them. The heater didn't work very well and the whole place just feels mediocre.

Spacious, comfortable, well kept up room. Obviously geared to extended stays, though we were just there for a night, we appreciated the longer-term accouterments like real coffee cups and glasses and silverware, and a full size fridge. Our only complaint was that when we went to watch TV a number of the major channels were unavailable, showing blank screen.

Excellent value. This is a room we would be happy to stay in anywhere.

This is a great stay the hotel was currently painting the hallway walls when we arrived. The rest of the lobby must have already been done, but was nice to see they have a good upkeep here. The room was super clean, even inside the full sized fridge! The bed, pillows and comforter was all great quality and didnt look worn out. We will definitely stay here again!
