  Great area for boating! Our family doesn't do much lake swimming anymore (except while out ON the boat), so the lack of many good public swimming areas is no biggie to us. But our family enjoys fishing and boating on Canandaigua Lake. We use the NYS boat launch, which has a $7 fee if you don't have one of several available passes that allow for free admission.

  Beautiful spot. Love walking here and enjoying the water. Very limited public swimmimg access.
