  Being a nurse aide for a summer at Camp Lee Mar was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. The campers and staff are incredible and truly made me feel at home. I had no idea how much of an impact the camp would make on my life and feel so lucky that I had the opportunity to spend a summer at this special place. It is incredible to watch the campers grow so much while having so much fun. I learned and grew so much myself and it has greatly benefited me in graduate school. Thanks for everything Camp Lee Mar!

  I truly cannot say enough great things about this incredibly special and unique place. I worked as a nurse aide for two summers in the health center and I honestly wish I could go back every summer. The campers will make an impact on your heart and life forever, the other staff members from all over the world will become lifelong friends, and the directors will support you long after you leave camp. All of the campers are absolutely amazing and it is wonderful to watch the progress they make throughout the summer as well as the friendships they form that will last for years to come. Lee Mar is such an impactful place, campers and staff can never seem to get enough!

  My daughter started at Camp Lee Mar when she was 9 years old, and it has truly changed our lives. It is the most special place in the world for a child with special needs and their families. Every day of the year my daughter asks when she can go back to camp! The staff is so knowledgeable, well trained, kind, patient, understanding and warm.
  The camp has the true spirit of a traditional overnight camp, just modified to match the pace of a child with special needs.
  My daughter has learned so much independence there, and each summer she comes home having grown up so much. There aren't many places where you can send your atypical child and feel completely comfortable that they are properly cared for this is the place. We have such a special place in our hearts for Lee Mar. Every family with a special needs child should have the opportunity to experience Lee Mar!! Its THE BEST!!!

  Being part of this incredible camp has by far been the best decision I have made. I can’t wait to be returning for my third summer as Staff- 2nd as speech staff. This is the most nurturing and supportive environment for children and young adults with additional needs I have had the pleasure to work at.

  I've worked at this camp for two summers now and it's safe to say it's my favourite place in the world! Camp Lee Mar is such a special place where everyone feels accepted and at home! I cannot recommend this camp enough, they have fantastic facilities, tailored programmes and so much more on offer!
