The stay was really comfortable. We we're able to travel easily between the hotel and mt nitney hospital. They provided a generous rate to accommodate our hospital stay. Everything was clean, quiet and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and would return myself.
An excellent chain and this particular location was outstanding. Staff was courteous, smart and helpful. Lots of people there were visiting Penn State, like us, and I was very pleased with our hotel choice.
Very nice place. Courteous staff. Great atmosphere. Quiet rooms. Light bulb missing in bathroom. Bedside lamp didn't work. Lipstick stain on towel. Bleach smell on sheets/in room. Despite those little things, I'd recommend this hotel.
The best thing about our stay was the staff. I needed some help with preparations for the room and they were more than happy to help me. They were actually excited. The location is very convenient to the local Penn State venues. The room we were in was tidy, but in need of repair. The handles to the jacuzzi tub both popped off at the slightest upward pull, and the sliding closet doors were both poorly assigned. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom clean with good water pressure. Breakfast was fine, but nothing special, though I really enjoyed the orange juice. I had hoped to provide my wife with a special Valentine's Day, and we had a very good time here. Thank you Samantha!
My husband and I decided we needed a getaway so we book this hotel and went to Winter Jam as well. The hotel staff was so amazing, we told them that this was our first time away from kids in 4 years. But our room wasn’t quite ready when we tried to check in early. So after the concert when we checked into our room we found a personal note and a bottle of wine from the hotel staff. This was a wonderful ending to an awesome day. The hotel staff is amazing, the room was very clean, and breakfast was great . Thank you for a relaxing getaway. We will definitely be back.
The product is similar to The Hampton Inn and Suites but better. They off fresh cookies throughout the day. Their breakfast isn't bad. I would get rid of the cereal and add some fruit. Also some avocado's. Internet is included. Free parking and a great rate. The suit I had was spacious and the bed was comfortable. However the bathroom could be updated. The staff was friendly and professional. Overall, I would stay here again.
Clean room, friendly staff, and yummy chocolate chip cookies. The location was also perfect for our needs. The only drawback was a very loud group of young adults that came in at 11 pm yelling & screaming, banging doors, running in hallway. Even after asking them to quiet down, they partied on until 1:30 am
I love this place!!! We stay here regularly for just a little get away! The staff are great and the rooms clean. I can't rave enough!!!
The hotel was very nice. The rooms were good size and clean. The breakfast was good and had a variety of options. Monday through Thursday the have a social hour where they have complementary food and alcohol. The pool was a good size. It was a very nice stay
Motel is meticulously maintained. Rooms are very quiet. Bathrooms are spotless. Breakfast is excellent with a great selection. Juices are not watered down as they are in many other motels where breakfast is included. Conveniently located within 100 yards of a gas station and within two miles of the downtown section of Penn State where all of the shops, churches and restaurants are located. Would stay here again without any hesitation. In fact, this will be my preferred place to stay on future visits.
We have had a great stay. Room was clean, staff was nice. Breakfast was very good for a hotel. The indoor pool was also very nice. I would definitely stay there again.
Staff was friendly. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. They also had complomentary cookies and beverages in the lobby. They even serve h'orderves in the lobby at dinner time.
Quiet hotel with updated rooms in the last 5 years. The TV in my room was a little tricky to operate as it didn't accept the remote input all the time. There are outlets built into the lamps next to the bed(s), which is important to me for access to a phone that is also an alarm clock. breakfast is your normal continental with a couple hot choices, waffles, toast, and fruit. Suggest staying on 3rd floor or higher as it can get a little noisy on the lower two floors with people checking in, going to the pool, etc. There is a managers happy hour once in a while, the front desk should let you know what days, but it is from 5p-7p.
As I entered the hallway i was warmly greeted by the front desk manager. They had fresh coffee and cookies. I was promptly checked in and took one of the two elevators to my room. The room was very clean, the bathroom was pristine, and when I laid down on the bed it felt like being kissed by an angel. Would definitely stay here again.
Stayed in a king room with jacuzzi. Very clean and comfortable. Updated and modern. You know how some hotel rooms you don't even want to walk bare foot in your room, not this place. Carpet and everything else looked brand new. Would definitely stay here again. Also, solid quiet walls and floor. Didn't hear anyone else, except room service knocking on door at 9:30am when checkout is 11. Man I hate thatbut still give it 5 stars.
