Camp Dearborn is nice. They have fun programs and I would recommend coming out.
This use to be a 5 until this year!! It was 1130pm and neighbors are yelling to be quiet. You're camping for crying out loud and stop trying to ruin other people's fun.
Family has been coming here for years and now I think it has come to an end. :(
Been coming here since I was a baby. Still love it. Wish they didn't take out so many tents. Wish they would update them! Still had a great labor day weekend as always.
Oh. My. Lord. I love this place. I come here every year with my brother and mom and it's always amazing. There's a shit ton to do, in the park and in town. It's enjoyable for people of any age.
Our first family camping trip and we picked a great place. Everyone (staff & campers) were so nice and helpful. Bathrooms were camper messy. I loved how safe we felt with 6 little ones under the age of 8, we never felt a bit of worry. Big playgrounds and clean beaches. Love the clothesline at each site to hang out towels. Wide variety of people with one common goal..to relax!!
I really enjoy this camp ground. However they should take better care of their guest. The customers that rent a camp site for the year have way too rules for the price they pay. Your guest have to pay $7 to get into the park. But they are not allowed to drive back to your campsite. They have to park up front and either walk or get picked up (super fun in the middle of a gathering to stop and have to go get a guest). You're not allowed to bring your pets on your camp site. They do not have near enough bathrooms located around the property. They really need to start trying to keep their clientele happy.
They have great fishing (3 ponds), a pool or you can swim in the lake. You can tube down the river. They have a basketball court (please fix the rim, paddle boats (cost money), put put (cost money). Lots of areas for kids to run and play.
City Park with Full hook ups for RVs. Lots going on. We go here twice a year.
It really saddens many that camp Dearborn is selling 40 acres in its trailer camp ground area. I heard that anyone that has a trailer home there has to move it. A place many have called home though out the summer time. I hope camp Dearborn will not go through with selling the camp ground.
Really nice campground with spacious sites. New restrooms with clean showers.
I can't complain. It was a nice year out there. 2016
Great place to come to get away from life for a little bit. Family has been coming here for over 10 years. We came with a fairly sizable group. We've always had fun. Wish they would redo some of the older bathrooms thou, definitely need to be upgraded. Don't believe we ever really had any problems.
