Food was decent but the service was a bit slow. We did go on one of their busiest nights so I understand but I still would have expected to at least have some silverware before our meals were delivered to our tableoverall, I probably wouldn't return only because I know I can spend half of what I spent here and get better food and faster service. Live music was also very loud and made it hard to have a conversation. Decor and cleanliness were great.

We get here at least once a year for a holiday get-together. Been doing this for over 10 years. The quality and service is consistently very good.

Audrey was a wonderful server. My niece had her birthday dinner here on Sunday, Nov 5th at 4:30pm and the atmosphere was wonderful. The bulgogi tacos were excellent. Thank you so much Audrey for the greatest service EVER. Everyone had a good time. And the carrot cake was huge. I definitely recommended Brighton Barr and Grill for a nice dinner.

We came in after a fitness competition so we were STARVING for good food. Of course there was a wait on a Saturday night and we ended up getting a seat at the bar. The bartender that waited on us was so friendly. And the food goodness it was delicious. I cat stop thinking about the creme brulee. Even though we live two hours from the restaurant, I can see us taking a date night trip there it's that good.

Service was amazing. The food was bland and mediocre. Over cooked and no stand out dishes. Our server had brown hair with a blonde streak in the front, she was efficient and friendly. 5 stars for her. Two stars for food and prices.

The service was friendly and they came right to the table. There was a great sauce for the mussels but quality of mussels just marginal. Scallops were delicious. An amazing array of martini choicesincluding girl scout cookie martinis. Fun contemporary setting.

Excellent food, wine and beer. And our soup was worth the trip itself. Can't wait to go back. It's a little out of our way but tasty enough for it to be a destination location. Our bartender was awesome. Highly recommend this place.

Nothing wrong with the place, but nothing that really stands out. Service was good. Their standard menu items are all well prepared. One special menu item makes it too easy to decide not to get.

Great atmosphere, even better food and service. I had Walleye and for the first time in several decades had the fish cooked just right. My husband had the lamb chops and there was nothing left on his plate. My daughter and I split the carrot cake which was awesome. We had plenty to share with our spouses and some left too take home.

Gotta tell ya, the "bar & grill" name is a little misleading (but in a good way). I thought it would be more of pub, instead it was more like a bistro. The food, the service, the entire meal was outstanding. I highly recommend this place.

Service was excellent, food was delicious and for my birthday I was served a delightful brownie with ice cream and caramel sauce. My daughter and I very much enjoyed our meal. Brighton has now become my most favorite town. Will surely be back again..came from Battle Creek and my daughter from Macomb, Mi.

Stopped in on a whim without having checked yelp. Only saw the positive reviews after and it's truly a wonderful restaurant. I ordered the meatloaf, came with mashed potatoes and broccolini. It was probably the best Meatloaf I've ever had and the "lunch portion" was $11. And the lunch portion was huge. Usually "bar and grille" in the name implies "we primarily serve alcohol and have a kitchen that makes extremely mediocre food." Not the case at all here. Excellent food.

I'm not from Brighton, so I knew nothing about this place. The food was excellent! The prices were what you'd expect from the quality of food ($30 steak entree, $15 appetizers, $10 shots of tequila). I had a prime rib dinner; which I must say was cooked to perfection, with excellent sides. It was a little crowded, especially around the main bar area But, it was Saturday evening, and a perfect fall weather type of day. I highly recommend this place, if you're looking for a classy dinner. Don't let the name deceive you, this is a 'dress to impress' type of place.
