Good price for a room, had to endure some noise from the street. The breakfast is mostly cereal, fruit, Milk, bagels and hardboiled eggs. It has an excellent location, near bus stops that go downtown. The hotel also has a pool and spa area

Jaw pains. Maid service showed up every day offering to clean. Front desk was courteous about replacing toiletries. Morning coffee, bagels, and oatmeal were laid out nicely.

There is a lot of road noise in the room. The complementary breakfast had some good options. There's a lot of space for luggage and storage.

Choose this hotel because the hotels swimming pool and hot tub area stayed open till 10 and it had free breakfast. Pool was deep and long perfect for swimming laps and the hot tub was so relaxing. Clean and comfortable room Beds were small but clean. Breakfast was good but limited. Definitely would stay again.

No real complaints this hotel isnt really fat people friendly. I booked what I thought was a room with a king sized bed, only to get there and find a small queen. AC unit was frustrating to deal with. It was either ice cold or burning hot. If I was traveling alone, I would stay there again but not if I was with my bf. Location is good. Close to lots of food places. FYI there is a $150 deposit if you stay 7+ days but you get it back when you check out (and pass their inspection)

Hotel is clean, for the most part quiet. But I didn't care for the security guard treating me like I was some punk off the street when I was smoking outside my room. I do realize you cannot smoke inside the room but did not realize that outside the room was a No-No too. In most Hotel it's not or motels excuse me.

This is an older hotel with budget rates which makes it a good value. I usually stay at national brand hotels so I was not familiar with some of their policies such as charging my card for the entire stay upon checking in, along with a $150 deposit. I checked out a few days early and they did promptly refund the difference. Most hotels with breakfast start at 6 am, they start at 0630, so I couldn't eat before work. They did let me in for coffee at 0610 but 0600 would have allowed breakfast for me and other workers staying there. Be advised, their kitchenette rooms dont have utensils or supplies, which really defeats the purpose of having a kitchenette. Who travels with pots and pans? Also, it seemed their policy was if you wanted your room cleaned daily you had to call the desk or leave a sign on your door, it's not automatically provided. The pool was very nice and I used it daily to cool off.

Rooms are cheap ($77 first night, $64 second night). Mine came with a fridge and microwave at no extra cost. Wi-fi works great and I felt safe while staying both nights. Pool and hot tub were fine. Only downfall would be the traffic outside (but it was bearable with TV turned on). I would definitely stay here again!

I liked it. Great price. Nice that it had a kitchen. My wife didn't like it though. Thus the 4 stars. Otherwise I would have said 5.

This place is decent. It's nothing fancy but it is relatively a nice place. The price is fair and service is pretty good.

We stayed in a ground floor room at the Fairmont Del Mar. From the minute we drove up to the property, we fell in love with its beauty. Valet and Bell Staff were very friendly and helpful. Front Desk staff was also very accommodating and made us feel welcome.

Room was very clean and well laid out. Bed was comfortable and the bathrooms were huge. Separate deep tub with a stand up shower. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we extended our stay an additional day. The housekeeping staff was the best I have ever experienced at any hotel. The rooms were immaculate everyday and they even organized by chargers for me.

The outside of the building does look old and worn but the inside is very nice. I got one of their newly renovated rooms and it was great. They had a microwave, fridge, iron, walk in closet. Nothing looked that expensive, but it was all really clean and new. I highly recommend you don't waste money on anything more expensive. This place is just fine.
