I went and had a nice dinner at Henry's at the farm. The atmosphere was really relaxing and our server Ann-Marie was awesome. The food was delicious and the drinks were on point.

We were here on a work retreat. I enjoyed being in a beautiful place outside of the city. My major complaint , and it's a big one, was the food. I am vegan and they assured me/us that there were talented chefs on staff who knew how to make food taste good without including animal products. My organization paid a lot of money for me so the assumption was that the catering would reflect my/our wishes. It didn't. I'm not saying that I didn't get to eat--I did. Just not enough and not well. There were a few tasty meals like a small bowl of kale salad (that was the entire meal) or 1 cup of Quinoa with vegetables. I was hungry the whole time. My food always came in a small bowl with no "seconds." I can eat more than 1 cup of food especially since it is so low calorie. Everyone else had a ton of food to eat and chose from.

The worst meal I got was supposed to be the nicest. We paid for the chef to come to one of our houses for a demonstration. My colleagues had fish and butternut squash with an interesting sauce poured over top. The chef gave me plain white rice and plain butternut squash. I'm not sure why the sauce wasn't put on my food to tie things together--it would have changed everything. The sauce had no animal products in it. It was really bizarre. The night we ate at the onsite restaurant, my meal was decent but that was only one night.

The woman who serves in the dining room for breakfast is rude and surly. Another irritation. The other staff were friendly and nice.

I stayed in Pony's Pad. The bed was worn down as was the other furniture.

If I were to go again, I would bring and prepare my own food in the kitchen that I had in my "house." But, most likely I will just try another place. This isn't the only game in town.

Restaurant only: Ate at Henry's on a busy Friday night for a date night with the wife, our meals were clearly rushed, my lamb was cooked inconsistently, Complete rare one side, medium well on the other, and when cut for presentation wasn't corrected even though it was clear what had happened. I don't mind paying a lot for a meal if its done well, but this was not worth the price.

The restaurant is delicious. Great jalapeño margarita. Rooms are clean and private. Trails are nice too. I saw a swan.

Terrific lunch. Wonderful food. Taste, presentation and portion size terrific. Lots of options. Good drink menu. Wonderful deserts. Service was wonderfully attentive. Walking the grounds afterwards was a perfect digestive aid. Llama, chickens, peacocks, ducks and bees. Can't wait to return.

Food was fantastic, interesting and fun. The venue itself had a wonderful aesthetic. The grounds themselves are beautiful with wonderful views of the Hudson and wonderful paths to walk around.

I was there for my sister's wedding and they did a fantastic job with the entire event. We where there for the weekend and it was fabulous. The team members at the farm where great and the ones who where involved with her wedding where very nice and helpful throughout the entire weekend.

Great place to go to get out of NYC. Under 2 hours from City. Get a massage. Have a great meal. Super low key. Be careful of sunlight in rooms. If you plan to sleep in have them cover windows to black it out.

This place was absolute serenity! I stayed for a full day - I got a few spa treatments, swam in their pool, used the steam room and sauna, and hiked around. The grounds were absolutely beautiful and very well kept. The llamas and alpacs and donkeys were a cool touch. I also stayed for dinner at Henry's at the farm and my food was to die for! So delicious! I would return again in a heart beat! My only suggestion would be to clean up the debris around the old waterfall area.
