Food is decent.. not bad.. THE DELIVERY SERVICE IS HORRIBLE they'll lie to you and say it's on the way and it wont be they will keep spinning you over and over until they close avoiding your order

Update: 2 years later.. The food has declined big time and they no longer deliver.. It's now just basically a fast food joint featuring middle eastern cuisine Nothing to see here folks..

It was not bad, but I did not like the attitude of the people behind the counter. They were too smart for me. I need to become a hipster to be worthy of good service. Food was average. Liked the design of the restaurant.

You got good quality food on demand. 10 min away. You walk into a line but they have more than 5 very helpful cashiers

Ordered this evening. Food is delicious as always. However, upon leaving and checking my bag, I noticed that the extra sides of garlic sauce I ordered were missing. I went back in to get my sauce and walked up to the counter with my bag and receipt in hand only to be ignored by the numerous employees walking around. Even the cashier standing 2 feet away from me didn't acknowledge me. Finally, I said something to the cashier and mentioned how everyone working there didn't bother to acknowledge me then stated that my sauce was missing from my order. She didn't apologize or say a word. She simply walked over, got my sauce and tossed it into my bag. So sad that your employees can't treat customers better than this. I won't be back ever again. Sad.

Fast friendly service (most of the time), delicious food and a nice sized dinning area. Perfect place to grab good food on the run or sit and enjoy. Very fair prices and generous portions. I always get the chicken or steak fattoush salad and curly fries with a side of garlic spread to dip them in DELICIOUS!

Maybe the ambiance and the service are better at the other two Bucharest locations. I'd only recommend carry out at Jefferson: Music at ear-splitting levels, bathrooms disgusting. Decor seems planned to have patrons eat quickly and leave. Call in for shwarma: Don't eat in.

When I heard about this place I thought it was going to be a nice Romania restaurant but instead I American food on the menu than Romanian. When I tried some of there Romanian dishes there was always to much of an ingredient that it made it taste weird. The service was poor lots of our orders were forgotten, spilled some good on 2 of the people I was with and then the waiter started to get rude about it. Blaring music, bad staff, I as a Romanian do not recommend this restaurant.

All the food is AMAZING!! the desserts are out of this world as well. The staff is friendly and it's very clean inside. Usually very busy, but, you don't have to wait to long to get your food.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER from The Owner Ogden! DO NOT SUPPORT THIS LOCATION! After receiving a cold sandwich, the waitress agreed to make a fresh one for me. The owner noticed her tossing the old one in the trash and began to yell at her in front of everyone. He then takes the sandwich out of the trash and says, "I will make you a new sandwich but this is not cold!" I informed him that the chicken and veggies are indeed cold (I took several bites) and the only thing that was even "lukewarm" was the bread. HE THEN proceeds to open the sandwich rubs his hands through it and yells, "this is not cold touch it!" I declined and asked that he please just remake the sandwich as agreed, because I refused to argue with him. He then REFUSED to remake the sandwich because I would not touch it AFTER it was sitting in the trash. It's UNACCEPTABLE for MANAGEMENT to treat not only customers, but STAFF in such manner. Very disrespectful to others.

This place has really good food, salads are delicious, it tasted like Detroit home made food.
Service was great they got our food really fast and checked on us frequently.
I definitely recommend this place to all middle eastern food lovers.
    The bill was reasonable.

The best $5.49 you'll ever spend on a shwarma. Hands down the best in the area. Huge, delicious and so flavorful makes for an amazing value! I literally could eat here everyday.

Awesome and affordable food choices. Mixed Mediterranean and East-European cuisine. Excellent food quality and portion sizes. Both vegan and "carnivore" options :). EVERYTHING is made fresh, on the spot, right in front of you (open kitchen model) - and it tastes heavenly. Prepare for mouth palate orgasm. Some of the best shawarma wraps I've ever eaten - chicken, mixed, "Bucharest", as well as salads, ACTUAL HOME-MADE SOUPS, etc. Lots of choices. Because of the "everything freshly prepared" approach, BEWARE THAT SOME MENU CHOICES TAKE LONGER TO PREPARE THAN OTHERS - if you're in a time crunch, make sure you ask the staff BEFORE you place your order. Lunch hours are extremely packed - they're busy even after-hours. This location (on Jefferson) has parking (common shopping plaza, parking is free). TIP: Call your order in, before you go, to avoid long lines. Establishment does not have a liquor license due to limited number of licenses issued in City of Detroit (nothing anyone can do about it, other than stay on waiting list; lots other establishments in Detroit are in the same boat) - but they do have soft drinks. Owner and some of the cooks are East-European. ALL of the staff is awesome, too. I'm client for life.
