I've been here more times than I can count. It's one of my favorite venues in Detroit. Easy parking right outside. Nice staff. Great security.
First you will need to find parking in the surrounding area at one of the local lots out big parking structure. Most of the parking is within a couple blocks of walking which isn't bad. The venue is decent. Very open space and decent bars. There is no where to sit unless you go upstairs away from the action. Bathrooms are clean and stocked. There's a coat check also
Awesome Venue; Great Staff
Went to see Elbow play here, never been to Detroit before and wasn't sure what to expect. Got there an hour before doors open and ended up about 6ft from the stage.
All the staff were great, from the professionalism and friendliness of the security (not a match I often see anywhere) to the fun bar staff: everyone wanted you to have a great evening. This is my new favourite small venue to see a band and will gladly make the drive from Toronto to Detroit again!
There was sufficient parking close to the venue. The security did a great job checking people for drugs and/or weapons. The music sounded great and it was a very enjoyable experience. They had a nice beer selection and a few bars to order from. The bathrooms were clean and had a few stalls. I will certainly return!
Not the fault of the venue; St. Andrew's audience typically is clueless. No respect for the artist. There for the party. Rude to the enth degree. Rather discuss who, what, and where than give the folks on the stage any respect or attention. Really stunning
Wish there were spots to sit in GA. Great bathrooms, very good security, decent drinks. A little pricey, but to be expected. Great shows! Sound is great.
Loved the venue a lot. It was cool to stand where a lot of famous artists started out. The parking vendors were all scamming on the prices just drove around for the cheaper one. Great downstairs and upstairs stages. The staff here is amazing and very helpful I felt dizzy and they got me water and even an orange juice to help me out. Great place I love going here and will go back for more amazing concerts
Small, intimate venue and good location with close parking. Big bar and service was great. Packed way too many people into such a small building. Would recommend paying extra to sit upstairs.
Staff was a bit rude, but the show was excellent. They didn't pass out wristbands properly (at least for will-call) and while the bar allowed me to purchase liquor (which they should - I'm 25), I was harassed by security for drinking it. I was told I would be thrown out, even after trying to show him my ID. He just kept repeating that I needed a wristband, but refused to tell me WHERE to get one, so I had to pass my drink off to a friend Who also didn't have a band, but this guy didn't seem to care about him drinking.
St. Andrew's either needs better security or do a better job of making sure that people get bands. Something.
Very fun. Good sound, and lights. Remodeled bathroom. Lots of bar space.
I really like the layout. Very comfortable. I attended the 2017 RAW Artists Detroit event
The atmosphere is awesome, they have a great sound system. The concert we saw was AMAZING! 💚
Amazing venue for live music they always have some of the best non-arena acts and all the upcoming openers and new breaking bands. Great sound, cool setup!
