Nice place with staff that is helpful and courteous. Especially like Larry back in the pro shop. They kinda favor league players, but we work around it as best we can. Best to call ahead in the evening and weekends - between leagues and tournaments you sometimes cannot get a lane.
Went to a birthday party here on a Saturday. There was plenty of open lanes and the included food with the room was spectacular.
Nice bowling alley, owners are maintaining the facility and alleys. Newer tables, flooring and paint. For service is good and so is the food. Reasonably priced
Equipment doesn't scuff, scratch, or knick your bowling balls. I don't like that they turn the lights off during the day after 1pm, turn them on at 5pm, then turn them back off at 9 or 10pm (may be a weekend thing, because I need to practice in the afternoon on Saturday).
People that enjoy bowling don't want to bowl in cosmic mode at 1 or 2pm. I don't know of any bowler that owns their own balls to enjoy bowling in the dark.
Had a great time bowling with the family. We had a few issues with one of our lanes and the girls at the desk were very friendly and helpful moving us to other lanes. They were able to keep our party together on multiple lanes even though they were very busy and even transferred all our games in progress to the new lanes. Kudos to them for making a great experience out of what we thought was to going to be a bad time.
Fun place to bowl. A bit old, and still smells of smoke even after they banned smoking years ago. They have a snack bar and a regular bar inside.
My husband, 3 kiddos and I tried our hand at bowling for the first time ever here. We had an amazing time! Fell in love with the game. It wasn't too busy or crowded so that was a huge plus. Would recommend for family night!
My dislike isn't on the bowling atmosphere per se. It's the management. It's nice inside, updated. The menu is way over priced to begin with. When I ordered a menu item (appetizer sampler) I was told they had to substitute one item for another because they were out of stock. No one in my group would like what was offered and asked if they could do something else. Was told no they can't substitute anything. However I was already being forced to substitute.
Very clean up-to-date facility with friendly staff, and everything worked. LOTS deals for bowlingthat would explai. The croud on a saturday morning at 10am. Im even thinking about buying their summer pass. Even if i only went a few times, for the price, it's well worth it. When I go back though, I'll be bringing a hidden sack lunch or eating before i get there! The price of food is crazy5 bone in chicken wings and french fries cost over $12! I could have gone to a buffet for that. It didnt taste bad, but geesh! And dont get me started on those light skinned pizzasin short; Go to bowl, Leave to Eat!
If there was a negative rating I'd use it! We have bowled league here 3 years now and the lack of respect for the league bowlers that spend so much money faithfully at this crap joint is amazing!
If you are going to have uneducated staff and management running a house, you need to alert the bowlers that come for league. There is no reason for them to waste money faithfully!
You cannot book prebowl lanes to them during cosmic, bullshit! You cannot host a league then change the layout to your Secretary end of the season cause you want to!!! You cannot maintain a house with sticky seating area floors and old pens. You cannot oil once a day half a a ass for night leagues. The list could go on and on!
Thankful there are so many nice options in the area, we will for sure find another option if our leagues do not move next year!!!
I'm happy to post this review hoping new people to the area wanting to actually bowl with the USBC think twice before this house.
The bowling looks fun. It was packed. The arcade however took the 2 stars away. Everything is broken. Lol. The bollards was fun. Fix the arcade please.
Nice Bowling alley fully equipped to handle party's. Fully functioning game room. Bar for the adults and a tattoo parlor in the same building. There is something for everyone here. Warm friendly environment.
Although it may look rather run down on the outside, the inside has rather new equipment and nice atmosphere. All weights of Bowling balls available and all shoe sizes. Food is decent considering the small kitchen and there is a bar. Nice arcade for kids and adults with various prizes. Overall all great place to hangout or practice bowling. Would recommend
