Great space inside to order a couple beers and chill. You can bring your own food from outside which is awesome. Their beers were super flavorful. Would def come back.
Brooklyn Brewery is a worthwhile local trip if you live in the York area. The tour is quick, but informative and interesting. There are few other places in the city you can get a quality draught beer for $4 or $5 and you can bring in food from outside (there was a Greek food truck just outside the day I was there). I highly recommend a trip to the brewery.
Neat spot with a cool atmosphere! Drinking out here might be some of the cheapest beer you’ll find in New York. Worth checking it out, even if just for a quick beer! Be aware that it gets pretty crowded.
Great fun place to come with your friends. Large beer hall to hang out in. Very casual, pet-friendly. Have nostalgia video games set up. Not a huge fan of the beer but that doesn't stop you having fun. Free yours of the brewery which are really more like story time about the young company.
Free tours are available on the weekend every half hour. Travis, the brewer, who led our tour was extremely passionate, funny and knowledgeable. Beer tasting is available afterwards 5 tokens for $20 is extremely good value.
Beer at the brewery is so much better than bottled and they usually have about 10 to choose from. Limited hours (Fri - Sun) and can get pretty packed. Always super loud. Buy beer tokens (5/$20) as soon as you walk in - the bar doesn't accept cash for beer (only tokens). Cash for tips is encouraged though!
Really fun place to have some beers and learn about the brewery. I would recommend doing the tour, it's a good time especially if the guide is 3 beers deep. They have a variety of beers available and some games to keep you entertained while drinking. The main downside is that they have really weird hours.
Really loved this place. The brewery is smaller than I expected but what it lacks in space it makes up with heart. You can tell from the mini tour that everyone you meet loves working here and wants the brewery to be a great success. Will, who took our tour was the perfect host with just the right mix of wit and information. You also get to spend time drinking the beer and enjoying the vibe afterwards. Book the small batch tour if you get the chance and head on over to Brooklyn to taste some of the best craft beers made. Cheers Will and the team.
Pay the $20 and do the tour. It's worth it! The tour isn't that long, but it's informative and you are able to try a few beers while learning about the history of the brewery. When I say try, I don't mean a small taste. They definitely pour generous amounts! I enjoyed the relaxed vibe, the friendly and knowledgeable staff, and the abundance of seating options. My friends and I will be visiting the tasting room again in the future. FYI- the brewery does not serve food, but there are tons of great food options in the neighborhood.
Not bad place for a few beverages with some mates. You can try some of their seasonal beers that are difficult to find. Looking forward to the new BB bar!
I am a fan! Great selection of beers. Remember to get there early on weekends as lines form before they even open. They offer a free tour but you don't actually get to taste anything (which is fair).
The tasting room is large but could use more seats. I really like that they have experiment batches, although some could be a miss.
Overall, I would definitely come back again
Fun spot, great beers. They don't serve food here but they have menus of local spots and you can bring it here or have it delivered. Worth checking out
Cool place, fun tour. They let you bring food and it's right in the heart of hipster city Williamsburg so there's tons to do. A great thing to check out if you're traveling or even if you live locally!
As an out of town guest, second timerFun atmosphere! Always changing decor. Cool vibe. Great beer selection. Good music.
Negative 2nd time here,
short female bartender, zero personality sadly, seems not friendly at all. Its like you're bothering her for walking up to the counter. #rude. 😝
Positive all other workers seem really nice. One guy in particular super cool, helped me both visits at bar, African American guy, stocky 💪, great, positive attitude I own a small business where customer service is key he's a great addition!
