Went to Boulder Beer last night and for the first time felt that this place has no personality. Waiter was bland and did not offer anything other than taking our order, no followup. Ribs were very good. I have been going there since their opening and was glad to see familiar faces behind the bar and the waitstaff. Not anymore. Can't say that I will visit again. Was not a friendly place to drink/eat.

Really just alright. The beer is solid, but nothing new or interesting for modern palates. The food is pretty much the same. I really liked the beer garden, but inside is kind of weird and uncomfortable. The service was standard. Felt sort of like a chain restaurant.

Lots of space. Many tv's, inside. Great outdoor seating and game area. Live music stage. Great Beer! Good food. Fun place. Plus, dog and kid friendly.

We are vegan and they have some great options for us. The beer is also very very good. We brought our dogs and stayed on the patio. Great service and a good time.

Very cool out of the way brewery in Boulder. Huge patio is amazing in summer. Dog friendly. Can't go wrong with smoked meats on special every day

Beer was on point. The fresh hop pale was good, as was the nitro shake. Food was also very well done. Only thing I did not appreciate was the bartender dude. The place was busy when we arrived. We got a table rather quick, but I knew it would be a bit until we were served. So naturally, I went to the bar to grab a few pints for everyone while we waited. The bartender asked if I had a table, I responded yes. He proceeded to tell me to wait for my server, and did so in a rude attitude. I do not understand why I could not purchase a few beers and close out. That irritated me. Other than that, everything was great. Quality was great, and our waitress was nice. Bartender dude was an ass. Despite this, I recommend going for sure. Maybe he was having a rough day.

One of the best breweries in Boulder! Colorado's First Craft Brewery shines bright among the many young breweries we see today. Take a free brew tour and learn the history behind the brand, taste all their beers on tap for free and stay for a delicious lunch. I was in recently on a Sunday for brunch and had an amazing meal and the service was excellent! Thanks Boulder Beer! Job well done.

Like cheers - Boulder Beer is our go too with our family and dog. We love them. The new renovations this past year are great. They also sponsor many great events and are an important part of our community. Their beer tour is the best in the area, so make sure to do this. As always the beer is great.

Fun place to hangout and have a beer. I find that it's stayed a little less popular over the years than some of the other good breweries in Boulder, which is nice. All of their beer is good, but nothing stands out as an all-time favorite. In my opinion, their best beer is the Boulder Shake--a chocolate porter. The chocolate milkshake with a Boulder Shake (the beer) mixed in is heavenly.

We arrived at 8pm on a Saturday and their were only 15 other people there. The mood was not very upbeat. The server did not like that one in my group was wearing an Avery shirt. It sure why it would matter since both breweries are successful. We clearly buy merchandise if we like the place, so they should be happy we were sporting brewery gear. The friendly puppies kept some in our group entertained for a short while. We had one beer each and left for a more lively brew spot.

My only gripe is the flight is too big. Would like to do smaller ones. Otherwise a great place and some of the better beer.

There are too many good breweries in Boulder to waste time here. Absolutely disgusting facility on kitchen and brew sides and their beer isn't any good compared to other local spots. Amazed they give tours of the back area. Where's the FDA when you need them? A quick search of health dept website shows F on recent health inspection. Gross! Would never recommend to anyone.

Been once.
Beer was fine (2-3 stars, there's way better right around); but the smoked chicken wings were killer! (5 stars).
May be back just to have more smoked BBQ food, because man. that was some good stuff!!response / report this review
