Over the years, I've tried Turley's a number of times, and been underwhelmed each time. I've given them a few chances because they do have good reviews, so maybe my experiences have been a one-off?

I'm done trying though. Today we went here for lunch. We sat down at 11:45, our lunch showed up at 12:40. Our server didn't check in with us once during this period, either to update us on the timing, or check for drink refill needs (I finally ended up walking over to the ice-tea pitcher and pouring myself a refill). I ordered a 1/2 salad and cup of soup. Both were mediocre (but such a bargain at the low, low price of $26.50). The waiter also served a member of our party a cup of caffeinated coffee after she requested decaff because she's pregnant. All of us were finished with our meal and sitting there for 10 minutes before we finally had to ask the hostess if she could pull our check.

I don't mind expensive meals. Boulder has an amazing variety of great food for which I am happy to shell out some bucks. I do, however expect great food at that price. I also expect decent service. The combination of average food, high prices, long waits, and sub-par service will keep me from patronizing this restaurant in the future, or recommending it to anyone else.

For the fourth time in a row I came to the bar to get a medium rare burger and it has come back well done. I send it back and the replacement is well done. It is clear that they just can't make a burger less than well done which is unfortunate because the fries are amazing. Nevertheless, I won't come back here again.

I eat here frequently. Great food and they have breakfast all day. There are TVs in the bar area great for watching sports. Happy hours deals are pretty solid. 4$ Moscow mules on Mondays during happy hour.

Our favorite place to go for a healthy breakfast made with quality ingredients. You can also splurge and get the amazing french toast and a delicious latte! Very large restaurant but sometimes you still have to wait.

One of my favorite spots in Boulder! Great variety, constantly changing menu with the seasons, nice views on the west patio. Love their spiced tea!

I have been going to Turley's for many years and have always enjoyed good service and food until recently. Sadly it just isn't what it use to be, the quality of food & service has gone downhill. I am basing this review over the past couple times I have eaten here because I thought the service and food would go back to how it use to be but it hasn't.

I also had an encounter with a very rude and unprofessional manager there, which I had a question about the menu that the server couldn't answer so she sent the manager over. He had an angry look on his face when he walked up and sat in the booth with me? (I didn't invite him to sit at the table with me I only had a simple question) He proceeded to argue with me rather than have a normal reasonable adult conversation. The last few times I have eaten here the food and service has dropped dramatically in quality so I wont be going here anymore. However I have found many other really good restaurants in Boulder to eat at. This place is kind of run down anymore.

While in Boulder on business I stopped in to have a quick lunch. Went and sat at the bar and ordered a cinnamon ice tea. The bartender was obviously hungover and yawning and blah. He forgot my tea until I had to remind him. I ordered the Vegetarian omelet, biscuit and home fries. The meal came out quickly and looked good. Then I tried a bite of the biscuit and it was hard and dry on the outside and chewy and tough on the inside. It wasn't edible. Then I tried a few bites of the home fries and they were lukewarm, not crisp and clearly had been sitting out way before I got there. The omelet was good - nothing special and I ate that. When the bartender brought my bill I obviously hadn't eaten the potatoes or biscuit. He would have known this had he asked how my meal was. I said I'll pay for the tea and omelet but you can take the potatoes and biscuit off my bill. He went and got his lame manager, who should have come over to me and apologized for the poor food quality. No, he sent the bartender over to offer me more potatoes and biscuit. I had to get back to Denver and didn't have time to wait while they prepared another round of mediocre food. I said "no" just take a few dollars off the bill and I'll be on my way. Now the Manager felt he should come over and proceeded to accuse me of being one of these food thieves and that's why he offered to replace the food. EXCUSE ME?? I looked at him like WTF is wrong with you?? I was so mad when I left and will never return!! Out of all the great restaurants in Boulder I picked the wrong one! Bad bad Management!!!
