I had the French Dip sandwich - the filling was delicious, but my problem was with the bread. The bread was very soft and soggy, like it had been microwaved. French bread is supposed to have a crunchy, crusty exterior. I wouldn't have expected the bread to be microwaved, but that's definitely what it tasted like. Otherwise, the restaurant is very nice inside, and the waiter was friendly.

Eaten here on several occasions and the food varies from great to phenomenal. The stand out is their service, great staff and management. Always know my food will be fast and my waiter friendly. Couldn't ask for a better sit down lunch/dinner spot.

Bon Vie for brunch/lunchwas an awesome choice. Sat for a bit before getting a server.
Played a little game with our server, Chris. Ask for two different dishes and had him decide. Eggs Benedict was amazing. Had brie fondue to start and it was delicious as well. Husband had fish and frites. They were a little overcooked, but flavor was good. Would have given a 5 star, but I'm slightly turned off by servers being made to serve inside and outside diners at the same time. Chris did a great job but having to cover two areas runs the risk something will be overlooked. Overall, a great choice.response / report this review -

Would've rated 4.5/5 if possible. Their filet is incredible. Good desserts and service is good as well.

I went to the bar, the bar tender was so busy he couldn't focus on the customer. I would have stayed but if you have to constantly try to get someone attention to buy some more drinks its not fun. The bar bite were very good.

Had a very good meal. I had the Short Rib French Dip, which was delicious. I would highly recommend. My husband had the fish and chips. His portion was a little skimpy and the fish was a bit overcooked but had good flavor. We will go again.

Took an hour to bring out the 4 salads we ordered for lunch, an another 20 mins to bring the check. Food was good but wouldnt wait again

My first visit to Bon Vie Bistro and could not have been more pleased with the food, service or atmosphere. I would place this establishment in any major market and the competition would be in trouble.

Excellent food and superb service. I came here last fall for my birthday with some friends and my boyfriend -- we all had a blast and they handled my boyfriend's egg allergy with careful courtesy. Everything was delicious and I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a high-quality experience without ultra-high fine-dining prices. On average I'd say be prepared to spend about $15-20 per plate.
