Ribs, chicken, and sliced roast beef for our party - all delicious! Great mashed potatoes. Good vegetable mix. Good salad.

Went to dinner with coworkers on evening, I ordered the Alaskan salmon, baked potato, salad, mixed drink. Total was under $18 excluding tip. The meal was prepared well and the salad was crisp. The meal was worth the priced I paid. Our waitress was very attentive to our group of six. The salmon however, did not taste much like fish as the charred marking overpowered the fish flavor and it tasted more like beef. I doused with lemon juice and got past the flavor. I did not complain, I ate it all and saved for review. So, do not go there if you want to taste fish. It is more of a red meat, heavy starch (breading) type of place to eat. However, the atmosphere is pleasant for all ages and quiet enough for business meals. Thanks for reading. If it helps, give a thumb up.

The food was good. The service was good. However, a reservation is a must! Plus, if you are considering going here because of the menu items and prices you see online don't. The prices and menu online was not updated. I spent more money than expected, wasn't able to get food items I was wanting from the online menu, and was very disappointed.

The ribs are so good! My preferred rib place. Haven't had a bad dish here yet. Love that they make their ranch from scratch!

Wonderful, friendly, and attentive server. Unfriendly and a bit rude male host. I had the ribeye cooked medium. It was perfectly prepared. The best steak I've had in years! All the food was well prepared. Will be going back!

We just tried Hickory House for the first time and it was really good. I got the Ruben sandwich and it was delicious. We also got fried mushrooms as an appetizer. There were many in the bowl to share. The waitress also kept our drinks full the entire time we were there. We will go back.

You can order a half size appetizer of loaded chips and be full before your food comes out. Little pricey, but the specials are great.

Overall a lackluster experience. Went off of a recommendation of a co-worker. Sat at the bar area and the bartender was pleasant. However, when I received my order I received medium well/ well done I asked for medium rare, I got medium well/ well done. When he inquired about the food I told him that this was medium well almost well done and he said oh, then walked away. The sad part was the manager was behind him nonchalantly trying to listen in, but when he heard the comment suddenly he became interested in counting out the register and turned away.
I would not recommend this to anyone. Nice atmosphere but for the price I expected a little more engagement and some pride taken in the food they put out.
