Always very helpful and friendly. They’ve taken the time to walk me through some of the finer points of complex purchases like NFA items. They carry a huge stock and their ammo prices are in line with cheap bulk online sellers. Their range is well maintained and very clean. The range officer on duty is always diligent. Though it’s a public range I’ve never seen a person in the lanes acting irresponsibly.

First time visitor. Good price for as much range timecas you like. There for 2 hours for $20. Even though I didn't need any help, I saw the range officers help others that needed it without any complaints. Indoor rifle and pistol range roomy, plenty of distance, and good equipment. Will definitely be back.

Not from the area, just visiting a friend and wanted to shoot some guns. Zach and Jerad were very helpful and informative. Best experience I have had at a gun range with safe as a top priority! We will be back to shoot the full auto’s. Thanks guys!

I've been there a couple of times and have always had a good experience. Very friendly, knowledgable, and helpful staff members. I had some trouble at the pistol range with a new weapon (FTF and casings jamming and not ejecting properly). The range master helped me with it and gave some suggestions to break the pistol in. It seems the two recoil springs need a heavier round than a 115 grain and that I need better and cleaner burning NATO spec ammo too. It looks likes I'll be going back soon to fire a few hundred 124 grain FMJ NATO rounds through this VP9SK to break it in properly.

It's a little out of the way, and the lanes tend to be pretty crowded at peak times, but they have a variety of really cool rentals that you probably won't be able to find at any other locations. Prices are about 5-10% higher than comparable ranges, but Blackwing is a newer facility and has a great showroom quality.
My experience with prices on firearms at this location is that I have seen them vary dramaticallythey seem to be a little higher than market most times but will often have discounts that bring them below other retailers. I haven't been able to fully confirm this since it might be because Blackwing stocks more customized firearms than other retailers, so check them out and see what they have in stock.response / report this review -

Great place to shoot. Haven't shot out back but there are always people out there. They always have raffles going and the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Ammo and gun sales are usually pretty good too

Great place to go shooting. They have a huge store and great indoor/outdoor shooting area. This is a very clean building. I had an issue with my gun that was not even purchased here, took it in and they fixed it in a few minutes for free. I will continue to give them my business.

Just completed the CCW Training at Black Wing - time well spent! The instructor was fantastic (extremely knowledgeable, experienced, and entertaining). There was also an attorney who educated us on Ohio's gun laws. The cost of the class is somewhat higher than others but you definitely get your money's worth.

I constantly recommend this shooting center. Its clean, feels secure and safe, and the staff is always available and attentive. I always feel safe while on the line and confidence that everyone is in "good hands".
The pro shop staff are knowledgeable and helpful. Prices are good. The outdoor shotgun ranges are great as well.

I am fairly new to the shooting experience and I recently joined a Sporting Clay league at Black Wing. The staff has been extremely helpful in every aspect. Specifically when it comes to gun knowledge. They have been able to provide me different recommendations on what guns to shoot and have been able to answer all of my questions. I also want to mention that the facilities are clean and appear well maintained. As far as the sporting clay course, they have stations that are great for beginners as well as some more challenging ones. I would recommend Black Wing to anyone interested in shooting and would like to learn more about firearms.
