We love this place! My husband loves the drinks & we both love the food. The servers are awesome & the atmosphere is great.

Great food. Great beer selection. Good wine selection good. Good cocktails. You have to get the Romanescu & goat cheese appetizer as are their pizzas - caramelized onion, fig, blue cheese is my favorite.

Good selection of beers and food in a fun environment. But what makes it 5 star is the brunch. I've had some genuinely spectacular dishes at their brunch!

Easily my favorite spot for late night drinks and a bite to eat while in grad school.

Huge fan of the Black Sparrow. Been coming here for years, never disappoints. Fish and chips, craft beer, sandwiches. Bar tenders are always friendly.

It's a nice little pub. The food was okay but nothing to write home about. The beer list is extensive and well-rounded. Yes, some of the beers are very expensive but, in theory, you don't drink those to get wasted, you sip and savor. Our waitress was fantastic and the place was clean. It's worth checking out.

Seriously some of the best food in town. The core menu is amazing, the drink specials are creative, and the beer selection is amazing. Definitively make it to brunch if you can, but be sure to come early or be willing to wait.

Awesome bar with great craft cocktails. Great ambiance. They have a wide variety of bourbon and whiskey in general. Cocktail menu rotates seasonally and the website might not be up to date.

Food is good and prices aren't bad but man, the servers are rude. It wasn't that busy and we were a large group and we had to hunt down the server. We needed to add additional tables and staff were rude and told us we were annoying because we needed additional spots. Due to our lack of service some would get drinks straight from the bar and then our server reprimanded us for doing so. She got some orders wrong and when pointed out she told us we were wrong. She was more or less a B.

I'm here now. Due to the utter creepiness of Google, I've submitted to its request to take a picture, ect.
The Sparrow is great. If you don't like it, you need to reevaluate your life and your choices to this point. Once completed, come around and enjoy a Special. You won't regret it.

A very nice place to get drinks in both small and large groups. The drink prices are also pretty reasonable and the food is great, though the kitchen closes relatively early. Love their fries.

Great atmosphere and stuff. Service is courteous, quick, and professional. The music is good but not so loud that you have to scream at your friends. Awesome place.

This is hands down my favorite bar in Lafayette, and they have amazing food as well! If you go here check out the seasonal food and drink menus because they are delightful and change often. I also love the atmosphere.
If I had a complaint it would be that it is pricey, but not undeservedly so. The cocktails off their seasonal menu are around $10 but they are definitely worth it.
