Billy Bob's is a dive. By dive, I mean it's not well lit, looks slapped together and is just grungy. I was hoping the food would be amazing to make up for the look of the place.
When I entered the establishment there were no other customers and no staff to be seen. I looked around and took some pictures. Then another customer came in a different door and a bell rang. He walked up, picked up a bag of food and left. I guess it was a to go order. Eventually a man came out of the back and asked what I wanted.
Unfortunately, this was the absolute worst BBQ I have ever tasted. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with a side of cheesy potatoes. The guy got a bag of frozen pulled pork out of the back. He took it out of the zip lock bag and put it on the grill. He kept shooting water on it to help it defrost quicker. The pulled pork was tasteless, which I didn't think was possible with pork. The cheesy potatoes melted through the bottom of my Styrofoam cup. The BBQ sauce was OK, but not good enough to save the pulled pork. The only positive part of this whole experience was the one guy who was working there was nice.

one person running it while tweaking, ya know when the guy brings out chicken to a customer and says "hey ive bever made this before but my sheet says 165 is cooked and i think it read 171 so enjoy" AVOID this place at all cost

The best burgers I've ever had came from this restaurant. They are flavorful and juicy. They also come with seasoned fries. If I am anywhere near this area of Kansas, I will drive out of my way to eat a burger here. The staff has always been friendly and welcoming here too.

Used to be 5 stars -- in the beginning they gave loads on your plate and ccoked well. Then I got a few near raw burgers and nwwell the buns are over toasted, and the serving sizes have gone way down. Not really a bang for your buck but the food being too cooked is the really worst. Some of the girls there are not very nice either if you ask them to not cook your food so it is not undercooked but not near burnt they just don't portray the feeling that a customer service person should show a customer. I hardly eat there anymore and that is a shame since they have good food, just overcooked. Totally forgot to aadd that their ice cream area is almost non existent with either ice cream low supply or no cones, waffle cones are not available anymore eithernot like most other Billy Bob Burger spots.
