The food was great, and the beer selection was good. They had a wide variety of local craft, national craft, international, and domestic flavorless beers. Prices were also very affordable, especially if you make it for happy hour. However, my server was pretty clueless about the beer. I feel like a place that brags about the number of craft beers they have on tap should be way more proactive about training their staff.

I have been here 2 times. I enjoy the environment and the beer selection is excellent. Both times I've gone I have absolutely loved the food. The second time I went my waitress was very inattentive, but I won't let that stop me from returning. All in all a great place.

Good food. Service was lacking. We ended up sitting outside because it was so crowded. There were 3 other couples (we didn't know) that had the same idea. We sat down at the same time, but we were the last to be served and leave.
Graffiti in bathrooms is entertaining, take your time.

The waiting staff is very polite and quick, the food is top of the line and quick after you order. I didn't even have to wait 5 minutes after ordering one of their larger burgers and had my food. And the crowd of people, other customers, super friendly. I am definitely coming back to eat here again and I recommend this for anyone looking for a good eat and groups.

Good service but they never checked back to find out my eggs that I ordered over medium were fried so hard the whites were brown. Biscuit was dry, they must have ran out of gravy. The sausage was phenomenal but a screaming kid kept me from enjoying it. I had to leave my food and doubt I'll return.

Delicious food, unique atmosphere and a great beer selection for us beer snobs. One of the few places I can find a Rochefort 10. It gets a bit noisy with the larger crowds but the food is well worth it. A must visit if you are a local or just passing through Wichita. 👍

This is one of the reasons I want to live down town! This restaurant is great! They have a friendly staff and great food never had a complaint, little to no wait time during peak hours. Be sure to try the haystack and bring your appetite!

The Anchor is a favorite of mine. There is an extensive tap list of some amazing beers of nearly any style that you could want. The food, too, is fantasticeclipsing standard bar food in terms of variety and quality. Favorites include in whole fried okra and the Burn, Baby, Burnan open faced burger covered with fresh cut fries and all smothered with queso, chili, and sliced jalapenos.

This place is a cute little place, the lighting is not balanced at all. The windows need to be tinted or have shades, the light was so bright from one end of the room and totally dark on the other side. I could only see my friends silhouette while we were there. The servers were sweet. But the Philly cheese steak was quite dry. I had heard great things about this place, but maybe I went on an off day.

A friend and I stopped by there to have a late lunch. We were both walking our large dogs so we sat out front in the patio area. They brought our food (their food is always good) and they also brought two large bowls of water for our dogs. They were most accommodating. The staff and customers around us were very kind to us and our dogs. :)

Had not been to the Anchor before, so we took a late lunch and had an excellent meal. Our waitress was very kind and attentive. She connected with our daughter, so our daughter and my wife drew a pic of a fish and gave it to the waitress. The waitress confessed she was new and had some difficult tables earlier. We were very happy with her service. We will be back not just because the food was great, but the service too! I wish we had thought to take a pic of my daughter and the waitress.

While I love the food, The Anchor is hit or miss on service. One time the service will be really great. The next couple times it will be substandard. The last visit my friend and I were treated rudely by the host when we asked for a larger table. We were going to work and needed more space than the small two top he offered. He denied the request and said 'we only save those for bigger parties.' I've been going to The Anchor for years and this has never been the case. One could possibly argue this for a weekend night; this was a Tuesday.

Went there on a Friday night, busy but got right in. Had a large beer on tap menu, very wide variety. All the food we saw looked very good, and what we ordered did not disappoint. I got the Ruben with fries. My wife got the Poblano Turkey Burger with Truffle fries (Beware $4 up-charge), side salad and gluten free bun. She said it was the best gluten free bun she has had.
