A great place for lunch or supper. The food and service are always first rate. It's a bit pricey so we don't go every week but it's always great when we eat there.

On my way to Cheaters and decided instead to stop here. Never again. Over a hr. wait on food. Lobster was cold and like rubber. Had to send steak back so another 15 min wait. The manager was nice enough to come my lobster and tea. The lobster the waitress felt said this is cold and took btw. He said he hoped next time the meal would be up to my standard's.

If you dont.like the food and atmosphere at the Scotch, well something is just wrong with you. Now I do have to be completely honest! I still have not forgiven them for taking my old red classic Frank Sinatra like area and turning it into Martha Stewart's barn! So when you sit in the bar area please face yourself so you will be looking out into the larger dining area. If you just look away from the barn everything else will be amazing!

UPDATE 10/18/17: I am upgrading my stars rating. Ate there again last night for dinner and will say that I was more pleased. The steak was cooked improperly, but they were gracious and corrected it with no problem. Caesar salad was good. The strip steak had some gristle at one end, but that should be expected on a strip, at least to a small degree. Overall, a good place to eat, but their real calling is somewhat of a supper club, with dining, wine, soothing atmosphere and waitresses in slinky black dresses. If you are not looking to make an evening of dinner and drinks I suggest that for the price you consider another steak house that should save you some change (about half). And you might even get free peanuts! Oh, and still no sirloins on the menu!
I ate a dinner steak (strip) during lunch time. I noticed that the lunch menu contains no steaks, but the waitress did provide a dinner menu when requested. The meat was good and cooked properly, but the baked potato was only warm, the salad was a rather small portion, and they served no bread with the meal. I will mention that the ranch dressing was heavy on the garlic, which I really liked. But, overall this made for a rather ordinary lunch, only with a high price. I have previously eaten here on several occasions through the years, but with the current prices and the food quality being nothing but OK, I will plan on eating somewhere else from now on. And they should drop the name Sirloin from their name. They no longer offer this cut.response / report this review -

Good old fashioned steak house. I have had the bone in ribeye both times which as very good and correctly cooked to medium rare. Could have been a bit more generous on the amount of asparagus as a side. Good service. Not cheap but when compared to other steak houses the prices seem reasonable

First, the pricing is marked wrong, this is a very expensive place. The waiter staff will offer substitute but then charge extra with out mentioning the up charge.
On the plus side a wide choice of scotch, and my lamb was excellent. The side dish was cold, but replaced quickly.

I've eaten here numerous times and always leave satisfied! Their ribeye is easily on my top five steaks in the country.
Servers are friendly and knowledgeable.
This week I brought my family. Everything was perfect.

Always a great experience! My dad and his coworkers go every Friday, I tag along here and there. Food is excellent - from quality to quantity! Servers are nice and attentive.

It is ridiculous to charge for sour cream on a baked potato!
The Scotch has traditionally had the best prime rib in town! I quit going for a time because the food and service had got so bad and the prices had gotten so high. If I am going to pay for a meal like this, I certainly better be able to say it was a great experience. Last September we went for Dad's 80th birthday and everything was great. I was so happy to be able to enjoy good prime rib again. Since the new owners took it over, everything on the menu is higher priced, but occasionally you enjoy going some place special. We went last week and I have to say after paying $38.00 for the prime rib, it seems ridiculous to charge for sour cream on a baked potato. Really? I understand if you order it loaded, many restaurants charge for that, but I can't believe you are charging extra for sour cream. Next thing you know, you will charge for salad dressing on a salad! It is really a principal thing for mejust stupid to charge for this when you are in this type of atmosphere!response / report this review -

They have made some recent improvement in the decor, and lunch prices are reasonable, but the dinner pricing is still too high for the quality of food, service and atmosphere. It's a restaurant living off its reputation more than innovation and quality.

A poor attempt at a steak sauteed in butter and rosemary. Both butter and rosemary looked and tasted like they were placed there after the steak was cooked. Not to mention the poor presentation and the poor palette and recommendation by the hostess.

For the price we paid and the expectations we had for this place it was a total let down. Was a Monday evening around 19:30. Given a booth that was not made up with cutlery and napkins etc and had a slight bad odour to it, a definite deep clean is overdue. We got the sales pitch to buy a 'great deal' bottle of wine for $100, sort of expected that but we didn't want it. Starters arrived but no cutlery yet. We prompted a staff member who brought us 3 forks each then left. I began to eat my shrimps with my hands but was desperate for a napkin. Again we got the staff member to assist. We got 2 napkins from the store and one was taken from another table. My friend ordered a salad to have with his main meal this turned up as a stand alone extra course. We explained again that this salad was to arrive with the steaks it was taken back. Quite a while later our mains arrived, swiftly laid on the table and the staff disappeared. No knives or steak knives as yet have made an appearance at our table. Yet again we asked for cutlery and at last steak knives were robbed from another set table for us. My steak was nicely cooked rare but was at best tepid at the table as if it had been sat waiting to be served in the kitchen. My whole party felt disappointment with the expirience and will not be returning. Sort out the basics, in a town full of great steak restaurants you need to lead the field at those prices we paid over $300.

Scotch & Sirloin always has interesting food with beautiful presentation. Service is wonderful and they have a fine wine list. Great for lunch and dinner. when the weather is nice, the outside seating is delightful/
