I can't even begin to explain how pissed off this VA clinic makes me!! they are by far the worst health service around and no wonder veterans hate going here! It blows my mind that no matter what section you call either no one answers the phone, or they act like they don't know what your talking about and can't answer your questions!! I have the worst nurses/primary care doctor, and they cancel appointments all the time and don't bother to tell me and when I show up and they tell me I can't be seen, it ruins my whole day, because i know that I won't be able to be seen for at least another 5 months. Why can't they just do their damn jobs and act like they care!!!

Sorry y’all can’t get your prescriptions in a town filled with vets. Maybe some of y’all should invest in screaming at the government rather than the workers. The building is beautiful. It’s super old. I used to volunteer here when I was younger and help out various departments in the hospital.

This place is a good example of a bad example. ( To include the Raeford VA) They are so sorry that they focus on how to get out of work rather than work.(go and observe a VA facility and watch them) For all the bad you doctors, nurses and all affiliates of any VA facility do, you and your families are going to suffer infinity fold of bad luck if you are not suffering already. How can the government hire tenth rate staff. I say to my brothers and sisters stand up and put these sorry excuse for human beings in their places. These foreign doctors especially have to go. They have no concern for our health. You are not welcome here. Go practice medicine in your own country and treat them just like you do us soldiers. In my eyes you are sell outs to your own people, go away, take your family, you are not welcome here at all. Us soldiers do care for you. If you have a bad experience with a Dr stand up to them, use tact and report there ass. The more reports the better chance they will go away. Report your incidents to the news. They need to be exposed for their ill treatment. So Dr's look out, we soldiers are on the rise to rid you out the system and country. Soldiers take action immediately. Use non- violence tactics against these ungrateful, complacent, irresponsible, false practice, low lying sorry excuse for people.

The systems were not functioning properly when we went in but all of the staff we encountered were lovely. A big downside would be the extremely long wait to be seen

I am a veterans wife and I'm done trying to get anything done for my husband on my own. He is constantly not getting his medicines that are for severe PTSD and depression. This is a problem EVERY month. The pharmacy advocate said to me this is a severe problem and he said this is unacceptable service. So now I am turning to the newspapers and all the news reporters I can get to. You would think that the 1st time the news people spanked this facility would wake them up but apparently it did not. I have a background in Law so get ready Fayetteville I am waging a war to get something done. I WILL DO EVERYTHING to take care of my husband and vets that don't have a wife to stand up for them. ITS ON!

They're fine if you can actually get an appointment. I usually end up going to the urgent care because the nurse "Mary" is too lazy to even try to get me in. She treats you like you're a junkie looking for a high, but I'd prefer they just fix me so I don't have to take a pill, plus I have a job that I can't afford to lose so I don't need a pill addiction, just a little relief when it's necessary. I hadn't had an anxiety attack in 9 years, but while flying I had one and called and asked for a couple pills to be prescribed to the nearest VA just to get me back home, and she told me to take benadryl. If I ever get past the nurse to actually speak or see my doc, she's nice but Mary seems to give HER medical advice rather the doc deciding on my treatment! Mary also talks about other patients when she's in front of others as if she's gossiping, so I can imagine what she says about me or my medical issues when she's in other patient's presence! Not professional st all. I also have to dodge the dirty old men in the lobby as they tend to socialize there in retirement. I've actually been followed from the lobby to radiology, to the pharmacy and then out to my car. Its so bad that I try to have my boyfriend take time off work to go with me because they're so aggressive! I'm to the point to where i may ask for security to escort me so I can actually get done without having to embarrass another Vet! Sad, but these dirty old men still don't believe us young females (I'm 38 btw, and served 17 years) can't serve our country and be afforded the same respect they do! The place is crawling with them as they have nothing better to do than catch up with old friends there.

This is the worst VA medical center that I have been to. The staff does not answer the phones, they don't have physicians and nurses that speak properly, they misinterpret things in medical records, and there are long wait times inside the clinics. If I could go back in time I would have never joined the military if I knew it was going to be this hard to get proper care as a disabled veteran. Veteran's are slowly dying because they cannot get the proper care from this type of facility. Majority of the time the staff is on their personal phones on social media or doing things that are not work related. I would bet any amount of money that if there was an undercover boss for this establishment they would shut the facility down.

I know that many Veterans and/or their families have experienced slow or absent care at this Veteran's Hospital. But I am compelled to use only the the experiences my husband and I have had.
My husband has had excellent care here in the VA Hospital on Ramsey Road and in the the newer clinic on Raeford Road.
If "too much time" has passed (in their opinion) he is contacted and an appointment is made.
We had occasion yesterday (Saturday afternoon). The Hospital staff were pleasant and courteous. The hall and restrooms were clean and properly stocked. The patient we visited shared a fairly small room with another patient. The area we visited was clean and the floor and bed linen were clean. There were no odors anywhere.response / report this review -

We are Service Disabled Veteran Owned Certified with the Veteran Affairs trying to support our veterans with mobility equipment and this VA has bought one Wheelchair lift from us in two years. WOW! How are we suppose to stay in business? They are very supportive of the local corporate business who are owned by investors. We do this because we are veterans and CARE!

4 hours still waiting sitting in waiting room for a simple prescription. After sitting there 4 hours, now it's past 1700, they tell me they can't do anything for me. So everything is closed and I can't even make an appointment. I need medicine now not I'm a month.

I'm one to find fault or criticize when due, but I'm shocked anyone can find anything to complain about with the VA Fayetteville. Even the new Choice program has worked flawlessly for me. There are chronic whiners in every crowd and, no doubt, many of them are veterans like myself. I've used the VA in Junction City, Topeka, Charleston and Fayetteville and never had anything but first class service, all of which compares favorably to the care I also receive in the private sector. Care and professionalism at the new and old VA Medical Centers in Fayetteville is absolutely 5-Star. I hope the staff can ignore the whining and appreciate the quality of service provided to veterans in the Fayetteville area. Thank you VA.
