This is the second time I have stayed here. No pets this time. Both stays were very comfortable. I brought my extra critical adult daughter with me and even she was impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms. She said she slept better on the beds here than anywhere else. This will be my first choice in hotels when I stay in Savannah because of it's value, cleanliness, and really comfortable beds.
Very convenient location right off the highway. Super clean, including the pet friendly rooms. Nice amenities include refrigerator and coffee maker in the room. Free breakfast includes everything you could want.
Great value!
It is an older property that they are obviously updating, which is a plus. However, the rooms definitely need attention (rugs cleaned, softer pillows, wall plates replaced over sockets, new lamp shades and towels replaced). Staff was very pleasant, professional and helpful. They have location, location, location, FOR SURE! Surrounded by many dining options, stores, etc. Very convenient to 95.
My family and I had a wonderful experience. The hotel is undergoing a renovation and the rooms are being updated. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The bed was so comfortable that it informed me of the need to upgrade our bed at home. My only concern was that the door to the room could have had a better quality seal around it. The continental breakfast was very good and the staff were friendly. I would, definitely, stay here again.
This place is great very clean modern amenities. Fridge and microwave in each room. The shower nice and hot. Great family hotel. Nice pool. Excellent continental breakfast. Many choices sausage biscuits gravy eggs waffles cereal oatmeal yogurt and very pleasant.
This location is older and in dire need of updating/renovation. The carpets and room items/decor are older (except the TV). The mattresses are old and obviously well used. They definitely need to be replaced. The cleaning crew needs to do a better job, especially vacuuming. There were bobby pins, cereal and pieces of animal crackers that were on the floor from a previous guest. The room was almost as hot inside as it was outside, as apparently they shut them off after the cleaning crew is finished. The only bright side is that it's lower cost and still close to Savannah. I cannot recommend staying at this Best Western location at this time. It would probably be worth the cost staying at the location north of this or further into Savannah.
This Best Western is a clean and well managed hotel near many eateries. The hotel's staff are service oriented and well trained making our stay very pleasant. My wife and I visited Historic Savannah, Ga and found the drive to and from the hotel a short 7 miles away. I would highly recommend this hotel for it's comfort, price, and proximity to Historic Savannah. This is a well cared for older hotel.
Friendly employees and a decent place to sleep at night. The bed and pillows were comfy. The A.C. didn't not cool The room very Well, it had two settings, low and high. On high cool The room was probably at 78-80, I'm usually cold easily and use a lot of blankets at night, but here only used a sheet and still woke up sweaty. The TV was old and small, but I didn't come on vacation to watch TV. The bathroom Could have been cleaner, there was a small amount of mold along the places where they caulked, and I at the first use there was another person's hair in there.
I stay in Savannah at least twice a year. I chose Best Western because of their pet-friendly policy. However, I am satisfied with all aspects of the accommodations. I feel safe and comfortable at this BW, the room has a microwave and refrigerator and it is clean enough for the price. When I stay at Hilton or Marriott in Vt. the bathroom has a better tub/shower, however, I pay much more for it (3x). This Best Western is a good value for when you need to stay over while on a multi-day road trip.
The beds were too soft, the carpet was dingy, all of the lights didn't work, and the bathroom shower was a little dirty. It's not a 4 star hotel but a good place for an overnight stay on a budget.
Updated: Before leaving, we enjoyed the free hot breakfast. We were told it was continental but the items included sausage, scrambled eggs, sausage and gravy, pancakes, and waffles.
Two-story rest-stop "exterior hotel" close to I-95 that has seen much better days. The room was clean but dated, dingy and depressing. The included breakfast is a thoughtful option.
Booked this hotel for a stop on a long drive down I-95. Close to Savannah but not too expensive, this hotel was the best reviewed for the area at the time. I was traveling with a pet (and Best Western's have pet friendly rooms, although when i booked they did not mention it would be another $20) the staff at check-in were very friendly and gave information on the complimentary breakfast and wifi access. This hotel is setup more like a motel's with room entry on the outside and parking right in front. The rooms were sparkling clean, smelled fresh (which I didn't expect since they have having smoking and pet accommodations), towels were fresh and fluffy. Bedding was alright but there were cigarette holes in the sheets even though I had a non smoking room. Pillows were barely stuffed and mattresses were quite firm. Overall a good bargain but I would look into other pet friendly hotels if in the area again.
This is the hotel I use every time I come to Savannah. They have comfortable beds, great water pressure. fridge and microwave in every room I've stayed in. Quick access to I-95/ I-16. Denny's located in the hotel lobby, though they also have a free Continental breakfast for guests from 6-9:30 am with a great variety of foods available.
