Room was spacious and clean. Check-in was quick. Wish they didn't put nuts in the cookies though.
Nice and quiet. Easy access to main road. Close to airport. Close to everything, food, shopping, etc.
Standard double tree. room was spacious and pull out couch was a bonus room was device by wall from sleeping and living area.. Hot tub was small no more that 4 could be in it. Pool also small but both are indoors and heated.. Close to airport and close to many shopping and dinning businesses..
We have enjoyed our stay so far. The rooms are clean and well stocked. There is a mini fridge, Keurig, and microwave in our room and two flat screen televisions. We have loved the friendly service, welcoming staff, and fantastic amenities; a lovely pool, hot tub, and gym. We would highly recommend the Double Tree, however, our only complaint is there isn't a continental breakfast, but we can look past that with all of the other perksfree, warm chocolate chip cookie at check-in anyone?
Male front desk employee greets only certain ethnic groups with a smile. He would barely speak or look up at me during check in process. Hotel did not furnish toilet paper. How do you forget that?? I actually had to request it, since there was not any at all in the room. No apologies. Female front desk at check out was pleasant and friendly. Promised additional points for inconvenience, but hotel never delivered.
This was a great place to stay. It was father from the beach than I realized, but that is no fault of theirs. Hotel was clean and quiet. Room was large with separate sitting space and large bathroom. We had a fantastic time!
This was a great hotel. From the lobby to the rooms everything felt new, which to me also feels clean. Rooms were a nice size. Pretty cool that the TV inputs were in the wall next to the tv and not behind it. Breakfast in the morning was good, made to order eggs. Much better than your standard continental breakfast. Quick trip to the airport and maybe 15 minutes to downtown Savannah. Would recommend.
My friend that was staying next door to me had 6 spiders in their beds. They had to call the front desk to get them to change all the sheets. When I looked at my beds for any bugs, I saw a brown stain in one bed that looked pretty new. I called the front desk, the lady said that she was going to send someone to change the bedding. 30 minutes later No one came to the room. My husband had to walk to the front to let them know. 10 minutes later a lady came to the room and handed my the new bedding. Never in my life have I had someone hand me bedding to change myself at a hotel when it is their responsibility to make sure all the bedding is washed. Now my son has bug bites on his legs that I noticed when he woke up. I will never be at a double tree again.
Great place to stay. The paid breakfast had good quality fresh fruit and the coffee was great.
The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and the food at the restaurant is great. It's in a great location, close to the outlet stores and tons of restaurants.
I very rarely provide poor ratings, especially to a Hilton brand hotel, but this one has earned it. We had a few requests upon arrival, which was late, so the goal was to make it easier on everyone unfortunately, only the room service order was met. In addition to that, the room was preset to 77 degrees and at 10pm in savannah it took at least 2 hours to cool down to sleeping-under a-down-comforter-temp; which I wasn't happy about after a 7 hour drive. In addition to that, no blankets were provided for the sofa bed, even in the closet. Honestly, if it had ended there, I would have given them another chance, but it didn't. When I went too take a shower, there was no shampoo, so I had the pleasure of going down to the lobby looking like a mess to get some. Well, we left early today, hoping things would improve upon our return as we saw the housekeepers starting rounds as we left. Unfortunately, again, no improvement. They apparently entered our room and picked up two towels, didn't give any more soap or shampoo, nor replace the coffee we used but had the nerve to put a new bath mat in the bathroom, showing that they had indeed entered; although they didn't touch the beds either. When we went to the desk to complain, he didn't apologize, but provided more shampoo; I know it wasn't his fault and I won't hold it against him. He told us he had to submit a request for the rest?? Not sure what that meant, and was too tired to ask. We took the kiddos to the pool, where, shocker, they were out of pool towels.
I'll leave you with this. Again, I rarely complain and am an avid Hilton user. This hasn't been our typical experience with other Hilton's and we expected way more with this being a higher ranking brand of theirs. After repeated offenses and no apologies, I'm leaving this to encourage others to pay more for another Hampton or Hilton elsewhere. Do not stay here!
Loved the hotel! Awesome staff, great location and clean and new rooms! Would definitely stay again
Our room was very nice and the people were friendly. Suggestions are that they need to add guest coffee in the lobby. They do have Keurig coffee in the rooms so that was good.
The breakfast is not complimentary and cost $12
