The hotel building is very clean and looks quite new. The room decor is modern with all the desired amenities and comforts. The reception staff were very friendly and efficient to get me quickly on my way to my room. The breakfast food item selection was excellent and the staff exceptional.

This hotel was clean and staff was very friendly. Good quality to price ratio. Better than average breakfast set up. The pool was closed during our stay which was a mild disappointment. Glad I didn’t have kids with!! But I needed a jacuzzi!!! I would consider this place again, but I would ask if their pool was operable first!

After all the great reviews we were a little disappointed. Requested a room with a king bed, but unfortunately all the had was two queens. Room was very narrow, and the bathroom only had a small shower, no tub. Very noisy our first night, between people partying all night and kids up in the morning running the hallways it was very hard to sleep. Some even knocked on the door pretending to be the maid. Backdoor was broken, so there was only one door in the front which made for a very long walk to the room or pool area.
On the positive the TV was nice, and they had a good selection of channels, with lots of HBO selections. Breakfast was good as advertised, with a nice selection of items, although we would have like some fresh fruit like cantaloupe, honeydew, pineapple or watermelon. Location is centrally located, about a mile walk to the transportation center, pier or harbor. Couldn't hear the trains at night.response / report this review -

An amazing stay at an amazing hotel. The reviews about not needing to drive once you arrive at the hotel are so right. The beach is such a close walk as well as the surrounding businesses. The complimentary breakfast buffet was also SUPREME. I would stay here again and again and recommend anyone to stay at this hotel for such a good rate and with the friendlies and most helpful staff. Me and my wife and 2 toddlers had a vacation to remember because we never once had to worry about our hotel stay. It was perfect.

Stayed here for three nights. Staff was super friendly and courteous. Had nice decor, clean upgraded rooms. The breakfast was delicious variety of foods to choose from especially traveling with small children. Close to the beach and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again !!!

We had an excellent stay at this Best Western. Staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. It appeared that the hotel had been recently renovated. Lobby, bedroom, and hallways looked "modern". I has one of the best free breakfasts I have had at hotels of this genre, including scrambled eggs, sausage, burritos. The hotel also had a nice little patio area with a fire pit to sit and relax in the evening. If all Best Westerns were this good, I would stay with them more often.

This hotel was very comfortable. There is no noise from traffic. The staff is very friendly. This hotel is close to the beach so it is pretty humid in the hallways but thankfully the AC in the room was pretty strong. I liked being able to park next to my room and see my car . There is a pool at the rear of the hotel which I didn't try but it looked clean. I was overall very happy with the value of the room for what we paid. Also the free breakfast is better than most other hotels. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

This hotel has water views. Is within a short walking distance to the beach. Hotel staff is great hotel is updated with all the plush items for comfort in the room. Jesse and Farah were amazing. Full hot breakfast very sweet staff. Great hotel location and prices. Free parking as well.. Amazing hotel close to food and stores. Wil book here again when i go to Oceanside.

We enjoyed our stay. The room with a kitchen was perfect. There were no paper towels so make sure you bring some if you need some. The pool and hot tub were nice. Staff was helpful and friendly. It was a walk to the beach. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was very good and fulfilling. Numbers choices for breakfast.

Stayed five nights on a family vacation. Staff was amazing and went out of their way to help. Breakfast was great though could have had more healthy fruit options. Rooms were clean and kitchenette was a nice feature for the family. Beds are decent, what you would expect from a hotel bed. Noise of neighboring guests was easy to hear. All in all, a great week.

Very nice hotel, decent location. Staff were among the best and friendliest O I have experienced at a Best Western Hotel and I stay in one weekly both for business and pleasure. Breakfast is good quality, no parking fees. Proximity to beach is good. Overallhighly recommend.

I came to visit my Marine for Easter. I know I made the right choice by staying at this hotel. The staff is friendly and welcoming. It's so close to Camp Pendleton, the beach, and eating places. The rooms are nice. The pool and hot tub is relaxing. Breakfast was one of my favorites! It can get busy though so be sure and wake up early.

This Hotel is the best kept secret in Oceanside. Even during construction, the Hotel is relaxing and very comfortable. The Hotel offers one of the best business centers, laundry facilities, and it has top notch amenities.
The guestroom pillows were far too soft and lumpy and need replacing (next stay I'd take my own). The breakfast quality didn't satisfy my tastes.
The Staff are very accommodating and hospitable. The Hotel provides a number of open spaces to sit quietly to read that are both indoor and outdoors with unique escape nooks.
I look forward to staying at this Oceanside location again.response / report this review -

Great staff. Nice location. Clean rooms and updated lobby and restaurant, great breakfast spread. At one point the coffee machine wasn't working so the hotel manager went to Starbucks and brought back several boxes of fresh coffee for everyone to enjoy. It's very close to the harbor which has several seafood restaurants, some cool beach shops, a beach front (cheap parking) and the main feature - in front of the Oceanside sign you'll see a family of Sea Lions hanging out at the docks all day everyday.

This place has friendly, helpful staff. Checking in was easy. Checking out was just as easy.
The room smelled fresh as did the sheets. I was given a ground floor which I appreciated since I had gear to tow for work. I had a restful sleep.
The breakfast was standard fare for Best Western Plus. It was nicely presented. The hot breakfast was hot. I still like making own waffles.
The hotel was undergoing renovations, but that didn't bother me.
Nice place. I'd stay again.response / report this review
