Had $10k worth of tools stolen out of our work truck here and several other vehicles were hit as well. No security cameras no security guards and the police officer said it's the hotel they get the most reports on, several a week, with stolen cars and tools. If you own a company or are just working in Gilroy stay somewhere else.

My wife and I have stayed at Forest Park at least two other times because it is centralized to things we want to do and see in the Monterey, Carmel and Santa Cruz areas. We like the small town feel of Gilroy and this hotel has always been top notch for us. There are plenty of nearby restaurants and not too far from a very large retail Outlet Mall. A great place to stay. It’s quiet and well maintained.

This was a wonderful place to stay. The rooms were very quiet. They were roomy and well done. I really enjoyed my stay here. They had a beautiful pool and a great breakfast with lots of choices. I will definitely stay here again!

I stay in hotels with some regularity. I'm and outside sales person who promotes customer service and believe it's the only way to truly promote any business. I'm honest when it comes to grading my experience. If its great you should know, if its not you should know. My stay at this BW was fantastic, the staff, the room, location, breakfast and cost exceeded expectations. You should stay Here!!

I stayed in the lower costing room with two queen beds. This room was large and well furnished. I loved that it has laminate flooring and not an icky carpet. The room had a microwave, small fridge in-room wifi and a balcony. I can't wait to try the free breakfast Will definitely stay here again.

It is a nice place to stay at a decent price compared to others in the area. Make sure the door closes behind you in the room. The pillows are small and hard. We have stayed twice in two years and each time the elevator has broken on Sunday morning. Weird. Free breakfast but you get what you pay for. We go across the parking lot to the diner for breakfast. The vending machines always jam too. On the plus side the people who work there are nice and helpful and it has good access to the freeway and local restaurants.

When we pulled into the parking lot we were greeted by a college football team That was also staying at the hotel. They were surprisingly quiet and respectful. We stayed in a family room, and it was roomy and clean. There are two rooms and just one a/c unit, so if you close the door the extra room gets VERY hot. Staff was very nice! Not sure we would stay again.

Nice Clean and Quiet location. The staff was very polite, professional and helpful. The Bed was comfortable as well and the property is located right next to the Black Bear Diner.. Awesome

Very nice hotel. It is definitely an odd hotel, but has a lot of charm. Our room was very nice, clean and roomy, with a very comfortable king size bed. There was a gas fireplace but it was very warm outside so the AC was on full blast. Very nice private balcony. Didn't get a chance to try out the free breakfast so I can't comment on that. It was a Saturday night and we were on the third floor very quiet. Very reasonably priced, and I would definitely stay again.

This is my favorite room! Having traveled all month, that says a lot. It is a real retreat and refuge. One thing I would add to the large bathroom is a sette or vanity type table. Other than this, I loved it! The outdoor pool and spa looked inviting, but the weather kept me indoors. Everything is close and it's easy access. Great stay!
