Great experience. Fair price paid $30 for the cave and 5 attractions. Was disapointed that some of it was blocked off, the indian burial site was understandable though. Our tour guide dalton was great. The gem stone panning was super fun and enjoyable. Came here when i was about five was fun then and now 24 years old was even more fun.

Really cool place but it is just a one time visit kind of place. More for kids. Some times during the year they have American Indian weekends and other functions as well.

Wonderful people great family place! It's great to see the cave lot's of history here. They have a gift shop and you can eat there and grab a cold water or whatever you want I just can't say enough

Overpriced. Nice cave, good setup and history lesson but presentation could be better. Groups were large, guide was hard to hear and didn't wait for the full group to arrive at the next stopping point before starting to speak again. Two groups going at the same time caused tour guides to talk over each other. Guides use microphones and speakers and in a cave that echoes, it was hard to understand what was being said at times. Good family place to go if they address the overtalking and waiting to continue issues! Note, the cave isn't very stroller friendly at spots though it was mostly open and easy to get around in there. Plenty to do at DeSoto, even if they are priced high.

Very overpriced and not worth your time! It's a one room cavern where two guides competed to be the loudest. We couldn't hear much at all. The cavern itself is the most damaged cavern I have ever toured. It cost over $125 for our home school field trip and my kids did not learn anything. Visit a cavern with more to see and spend less money!

If you need something to do this is a decent stop. It's a single room cave where they installed a projector for a video and laser show in the water fountain. The tour guide has information but mostly jokes. We ended up explaining stalactites and stalagmites to our child after the guide mentioned them and went on to make jokes about what they look like. It would have been better if it was cheaper and you could look around by yourself and read a sign about the stuff they placed in the cave.

Way over priced! $10 per person at the gate. $27 per person for the cave tour. $117.00 for three people for barely an hour of entertainment. Over the years the tour has been reduced to a walk in a circle. It used to be pretty amazing. Guide was lackluster at best. Not very knowledgeable.

The cave is beautiful but small for the price you pay just for the tour. The video and light show is longer then the actual cave tour itself. Plenty of things for the young ones to play on or in if you can afford it also.

I really enjoyed our trip to Desoto Caverns. Our tour guide, as all tour guides, was full of corny jokes and informative details of the history of the caverns. I thought there would be more of a hike, I was almost hoping so, but it was more of a tour of one large cave and a tiny path not wide enough for wheelchairs. I think in the future there are building a more adventurous tour. I sure hope so.

Great place for family with kids. Stuff for older kids like water balloon fights and water gun maze etc. And stuff younger kids can do like panning for gems and playing on pirate ship play house and splash pad. We also camped here in our rv and enjoyed biking through the park at night and splashing around in the creek.

Feels a little like a money grab with high admission prices to the main attraction. The cave itself is breathtaking but the tour guides try to draw your attention to rock impressions that vaguely look like celebrities. Their laser light show is cool but unless you like blaring christian rock then the music may detract from the experience.

We stayed here one night on our trip (April 2017). It was a perfect distance between our spring break destination and home to take a break. The camp site (14) was full hookup (30amp) and level. They had a couple of bath rooms with shower, toilet, and sink. The staff was all friendly and polite. We enjoyed our guided trip into the cavern and the kids enjoyed the other attractions, too. Unlike others, I was happy to see a place like this recognize its creator.
