The Best Western of Long Beach isn't in the best of neighborhoods it's on Long Beach Blvd and Pacific Coast Highway. But the property has been recently remodeled, the staff is friendly and helpful and the rooms are well appointed. Great for Grindr hookups!

The metro station is right in front of the door and will take you right down to the beachfront. While the lobby left something to be desired, the room was perfect, with lots of room, a desk, a table, not as cramped as they sometimes get. The breakfast spread was great too, with decent coffee and a fresh pancake machine.

The staff at the hotel is kind and they are ready to help. The room where I stayed was nice, the bed was fine and in general it was a good room. The location of the hotel is fine though the surrounding area is not the best.

We had a great experience in our 4 night stay at BW Long Beach. The 2 most important things when we stay at a hotel are that it must be very clean, and the bed must be comfortable. It was, that is why I gave them 5 stars. We also felt safe there. Parking was also very easy. We will be back.

Great hotel. It's kinda small, but the rooms are clean and the service is great. We only stayed one night with the park and cruise package they offer, but would come back any time we need to stay in Long Beach again.

II booked this hotel because of the convenient free shuttle to the cruise port. I'm glad I did as the entire staff was friendly and helpful. They arranged a cab for us when we wanted to go out to dinner and the shuttle driver went above and beyond by returning to the cruise port with my purse which accidently was left on the shuttle. The room was comfortable and the free breakfast had a nice selection. I stayed with my sisters and they all agreed it was a good place to stay.

The hotel was not bad at all. Parking lot had many spaces to park. Staff was helpful (although I only encountered 1 at the desk upon check-in) everything was good up until I layed on the bed. The bed was stiff as a board. The night prior, I stayed at the Best western plus in La Mesa and the bed at that location was AMAZING! I totally expected the beds to be the same, but was very disappointed that it wasn't. My boyfriend and I had a hard time sleeping.

The facility was modern and clean. The breakfast was among the best that we have seen. Everything was fine - EXCEPT that the bed was so soft that it was more like sleeping in a hammock. As a result, my wife and I both slept very poorly. And sleeping is, after all, the reason to check into a hotel.

I enjoyed my stay here. Thought the place was adequate for the price. We had an issue with the air conditioner and it was replaced immediately and worked perfectly after that. I enjoyed the complimentary breakfast each morning. There were many options and the food was prepared well and was tasty too.

Was very nice and the employees were friendly. Close to the metro station and they had shuttles for the cruise terminal and convention center. Would better if they offered a shuttle to LAX.

If you love sleeping on your buddy's futon, you'll love it here! Most uncomfortable bed and pillows I have ever slept on. The rooms were not clean to my standard, there was half a pizza crust under the bed and the sheets were all stained up. We have very different definitions of "heated pool." I'm sure if it was warmer the pool would be fine. Only thing getting this place from one to two stars is that the breakfast wasn't too bad.

The hotel is clean, convenient and the people are friendly and helpful. They serve a good breakfast, the rooms are large and comfortable. The price is fair and everything worked well. Parking is easy and close. There are elevators to make it easier. If you're in the area, this is a good choice.

We stayed at Hotel Maya the night before our cruise. Paid 49 taxi to get there from LB Airport. 20 each for a simple bacon & egg breakfast! Sure they'll give you an extra coffee in your room at 1.00 each. It's water view but you can't go in it.
Sitting at the cruise port, I cancelled our return stay and called Best Western. They were so friendly, he told me to call when we got off of the cruise and was there to pick us up within 15 minutes, free cookies and coffee in the lobby! The next morning, we got free breakfast and a free shuttle to the LB Airport. The hotel was so clean and room was bigger than a normal standard room, with microwave, fridge, coffee pot ( as many coffees as you want free )
I will never stay anywhere else in LB again!!

Amazing hotel. Very friendly staff. Great location and has everything you need. No problems at all. Check in easy, no lines, and the staff went out of their way for anything. I was sick and they even helped me by making me tea as I checked in.
