Excellent staff, easy booking online. The accommodations are clean and very nice, and little extras were offered, such as restaurant recommendations with free appetizer card, from front desk. The room we requested (one we liked from previous stays) wasn't available so an upgrade was offered and was much nicer! We'll definitely stay as often as we can.

Room is very clean and tidy. We stayed for 4 nights with children. Good services and hot breakfast selections. Very convenient location. I would give it 5 stars for value to money.

Nice hotel, but there were a few problems. The Microwave and fridge and the door lock in one of the 2 rooms I rented didn't work and the water pressure in the other room was very low and the room smelled a little musty. The carpets could use cleaning as well. On a good note, the pool was nice, the staff friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was really good. They even had non dairy milk for the coffee. I would stay again, give it another chance.

Clean and comfortable place to stay. Plenty of free parking. The included breakfast usually has eggs, potatoes, make-it-yourself waffles, a variety of yogurts, cereals, etc., and is actually pretty good. The coffee is good too. Close and easy access to I-5. A great value compared to other hotels when you consider parking and breakfast are included.

Pros: location is close to a lot of fun things to do, the pool and spa are nice and clean, the staff was friendly, the breakfast was good.

Cons: The floor turned our feet black which explains the black footprints that were in the tub. I chose the third floor so as not to have noise from above, but was not notified there would be workers on the roof overhead, so had noise anyway. Only half of the electrical outlets worked. The others (including the vanity) did not. I bought an extension cord to use my curling iron because by the time I noticed, we were unpacked, settled, exhausted, and did not want to deal with switching rooms. But we shouldn't have encountered that in the first place. Beware of room 316.

Hopefully the roof sounds indicate this place is in the process of updating and repairing because it has the potential to be great. Definitely won't use priceline again. I let them pick our hotel and I think I paid more than I would have outright thinking I was getting a deal.

Awesome continental breakfast! They had tons of options including eggs, bacon, and sausage. Our room was clean upon arrival, but the carpet is very dirty (turns your feet black) and the room has a musty smell because of humidity. The pool and hot tub are nice and enjoyable, and the location is great! Just minutes away from beaches and other attractions. All in all, I would stay here again considering the affordable price and all around food experience.

The breakfast is GREAT, lots of options. The pool is sizable and clean. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The location is t the easiest to get to, but it's manageable. I have nothing bad to say about this hotel and would gladly stay here again.

Staff was friendly, beds we're comfy. Breakfast was filling. Close to everything we had planned in San Diego. Check in/out was easy and fast. Great price for the stay, and would come back and recommend to others.

Cons: Hot tub seemed to have too much chlorine. Breakfast room was small for the breakfast rush. Cosmetic stuff in rooms could use some attention (bathroom wallpaper, sealant on sinks and tubs, tub faucet was loose)

Stayed for 6 nights in March and it was excellent. Rooms were clean. Staff were friendly. The breakfast buffet in the morning too is to die for. It's better to get there early as there is only a few tables but the hot food and make your own waffles are fantastic. Defiantly worth a stay!!

It was a very clean and well kept property with very enjoyable breakfast. Only experienced a noise problem with a neighbor one night and the front desk staff handled it very quickly.

comfortable beds also. Was able to get plenty of rest on vacation and enjoy our vacation.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Great location. Rooms clean but older. Good continental plus breakfast but room is too small so very crowded. Noisy outside at night. Would not stay here again. Not enough parking in lot close to rooms.

This hotel was conveniently located near I-5 and Mission Bay. The beds were quite comfortable, everything was very clean and it was nice to have a fridge and microwave in the room as we stayed for 3 nights. The breakfast was fine, pretty typical for most hotels in this price range. The staff was helpful, the pool and hot tub were open and enjoyed (even though it was quite cold outside). The only two drawbacks were: 1) there were no decent eating places nearby that we could find and 2)the hotel room doors open to the outside instead of a safer interior hallway. The hotel is older but was worth the money we paid. Oh, and the person taking the reservations (Bill?) was very cordial and accomodating.

If you are looking for a resort style hotel, this isn't it. And it's not fair to try to compare it to such. This is a nice place to stay if you are looking for a clean, comfortable place to come back to after a busy day. The location is convenient as it is right off of I-5. You must also consider the value. This hotel does not charge for parking (most hotels in SD charge $20-$35 for parking). They also include a very respectable Continental breakfast that includes a waffle maker, eggs (usually scrambled or omelet), boiled eggs, sausage/bacon, cereals, breads, juices, yogurt, fruit, and surprisingly good coffee.
Bottom line: If you actually do the math and estimate the cost of your stay here compared to other places, it's a tremendous deal.
