My wife and I will be spending many more nights at this Great Resort. Food was Fabulous. I could go on & on just try if you will Love it. Thanks yo all.
This place is not cheap prepare for that. That being said, We had a fantastic time. This place may have even gotten 5 stars had the location of our beach front bungalow (pricier suites) was not located directly adjacent to the public parking lot for the beach (which also is public :() and our bungalow had an ant problem in the kitchen area (we understand that's a tough battle) All that aside, we had an awesome time playing in the sand, swimming in the pool, taking rides on the carts from our bungalow to dinners, walking the property, and ordering room service to chill and binge looking out on the water from our patio!!! We had a 7 month old and 3 year old with us and even they thoroughly enjoyed their stay! The staff is top notch kind, accommodating, and pleasant!! We will be back for a fun night staycation again soon!
Spoke with a young man named Alex at the front desk at around 4 am. My phone was about to die. I asked if a charger could be brought to my room (I paid for a honeymoon suite, room 232, and dropped about an additional $200 on champagne). Rather then bring me a charger he made someone pick me up in a golf cart and take me to my car to get my own charger (yes at 4 o’clock in the morning). I can’t believe that after spending so much money at a resort that I can’t even get an iPhone charger when requested. I even went as far as saying to charge me $100 for it. Instead, I had to leave the comfort of my bed. Needless to say, I will not be back.
The rooms are individually located in duplex bungalows. This is nice for privacy, but not for amenities like ice, room service, access to the lobby. The location is on a beautiful island with lots of trees and green spaces. There are beaches, tennis and basketball courts, and restaurants, plus your typical fitness center, pool, and bars. The service is pretty good, though I haven't interacted with many employees after check in. The guys on golf carts always offer a friendly wave. Overall, I like the hotel, but it's not for people who prefer a typical hotel.
Such a beautiful resort with plenty of opportunities for great photos of the bay. Bungalow rooms have the feel of more privacy than the traditional hotel style. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Bathroom is a little dated though. Main pool and fitness center are nice. Be sure to call the desk for towels, seems that they are never stocked. Remember, it's an Island resort. So if you forget to pack something or don't want to pay an arm/leg at the restaurants, you'll have to drive back into the main land for it. Not too bad of a drive though, the resort is a close drive to anything
Only reason I'm giving 1 star is the place was super cool, but i had a terrible experience here. We had booked 2 rooms that were connected and when we got there we were so excited. one of our rooms had blood all over the sheets and the other one had a group of spiders in the tub. Seems like that room hadn't been used is multiple months because there were spider webs everywhere. we contacted the front office and we had our rooms moved. We got to some suites and one of the floors had crumbs all over them, there was moldy food in the fridge, and there were no sheets on the bed or the fold out couch. We had to cancel some of our plans because we had to stay there until they could resolve all of the issues. Read so many reviews about this place and was super excited to go, but turned out to be a terrible experience overall.
The pictures and everything looked great, but once we arrived to the room, it was not what we expected. The rooms don't feel very clean like they should. They are remodeling some rooms, so hopefully those are nicer. If you don't have a car, getting around is a pain in the butt. You have to walk quite a bit, or wait for a bellman to get you in a golf cart. The location is great, but feel they could do better. The business meeting rooms are nice, and the staff has been very friendly and attentive. They just really need to work on the rooms.
We really enjoyed our week at the resort. Our main problem was service related. Communication between front desk and housekeeping was horrible. Took 3 days to get our floor swept. Housekeeping was fabulous, it was lack of communicating from management!
Would recommend trying to incorporate an all inclusive option with the restaurants this would make it a 5 star resort, well with improvement in communication of course.
We highly recommend renting the electric bikes and going over to the beach for the day! Great fun!!
Paradise Point is a lovely facility. Beautiful, peaceful grounds make taking a walk well worth it. There is a lot of walking as the property is large. (I'm mad that I forgot my Fitbit!) But don't let that scare you. You can place a call to the front desk or use their mobile app to order golf cart transportation. Everyone is very friendly. I did use the spa and thoroughly enjoyed my facial. I was here for work so cannot speak to the activities available on-site. I did see bike rentals and likely would have used this service given more time.
Paradise point Hotel is a great place for all ages to visit. Bring your bon fire stuff, grilling stuff, portable stove, and family to enjoy this place. I gave 4 stars because I went for one night and the check in time was 4pm and checkout at 11am. I tried to get an early check in by showing up 2pm, but we were given the room keys around 4:20pm. They did accommodate us by giving us access to the pool. Besides that the weather was perfect when we were there Aug. 12 at around 73F and partly cloudy. We went jet skiing, which was great and easy to rent. We enjoyed bringing our own meals, as all the restaurants in the area smelled strongly of alcohol. Since we don't drink, the smell was too strong for our liking. But it was very easy for us to cook in the small patio behind out room. That way, we also got a beautiful view of the bay for all our meals.
Paradise Point Resort is a Resort! Unbelievably beautiful and lots of amenities! Our room opens up to a beautiful Lani with a huge lawn facing the water. This is a high end property that is definitely a destination in and of itself! Many pools and restaurants it sits on what amounts to a private island. Sailboats, paddle boards and jet skis can be had at it's own private marina. We will be coming back for years to come.
Double Queen rooms are much roomier and nicer than the single Queen room. Quieter area away from main pools. Overall really convenient location and nice grounds. Would rate 4* for rooms and grounds. But the -1 was for overbooking and placing us in a single room with 4 occupants. Then offering only a $50 discount. They were able to get us into the correct room the next afternoon
I wish I could rate minus star but there's no that option. This place is horrible for my party of 8 friends, especially two of them were here for honeymoon!
The new couple's personal items(including wedding shoes, jewelries, etc.) got stolen on the second day! We are pretty sure all the doors are well locked before leaving. What really hurt us is the attitude of the hotel. They as the hotel managers/front desk assistants/security guard DO NOT KNOW what is the policy with guest lost. As guests, we don't feel safe, we don't feel comfortable, we don't feel the hotel is willing to take any responsibilities. The executive manager who can make decisions is not available until Monday and we are leaving Saturday night. What they can tell us is they will contact the insurance company and there is no guarantee for reimbursement. This really hurt our feelings.
Not to mention you can see ants/flies in the room, the hotel overcharged you with package from no where or even refuse to provide the correct room we booked!
Be careful and be safe if you've booked!
The resort is quite the destination. I stayed for a few days for a work conference. The staff were very polite and the accommodations were very nice. Most rooms are free standing buildings, which was very interesting. Most of the catered food provided for the conference was very good (except for the gelatinous quiche). The restaurants on site are decent- the pizza place is probably the best value for your money. If you want to feel like you're in a tropical getaway for a few days it's a good destination.
This hotel is absolutely beautiful. The staff are so friendly. The garden bungalows are lovely, it was wonderful to be able to relax in a little apartment type room. There was lots of space to spread out and read a book, or do some work on a laptop. The cleaning ladies that visited us daily were so sweet, and frequently asked how I was feeling as I had a cold during my visit.
This was easily the best hotel stay I've had and I hope to visit again.
