I'm not a very picky person when it comes to hotels but this is the most disgusting room I've ever been to. Don't let the photos you see trick you. The room is so dirty. Walls are so dirty! The bedding is so old that I'm assuming it's here since the beginning of that place. The place stinks it's hard to breath. It does not reserve even one star.

Walking distance to breakfast place, coffee, grocery, restaurants & beach. Good price for what you get for staying one night compare to the chain hotels. A 2 floor motel, no elevator but has a swimming pool.

We got in late and no one was there to tell about the BUGS we found all over the kitchen and when we told them the next day they said we should have told them sooner and that they couldn’t do anything about it. As if the bugs weren’t bad enough, the shower didn’t drain and the toilet didn’t flush well at all. Plus, they put us in a king bed instead of a double bed room like we had reserved.

Great experience. Resort is a unknown jewel in Lauderdale by the Sea. All attractions are within walking distance and the ocean is only 2 minutes away. Have already booked a room for December. I give it 5 stars and highly recommend Best Florida Resort.

The location was a five minute walk from the beach. It is small and cozy and reasonably priced. The hotel definitely took on the tropical feel. We did not rate it a 5 because there were no hangers in the room and we had to ask for coffee to be left in the room two of the three days we were there. We were cordially greeted and well taken care of other than the hangers and coffee. I would recommend best Florida Resort as kind of a quiet getaway at a small hotel. The interior of the rooms were very nicely kept. The bed was comfortable and the couch was a fold-out futon. It is also within 20 minutes of Fort Lauderdale.

Just a place to sleep. I arrived at 10:45 pm and no one was in the office. They did leave me a message though. Room didn't have a ironing board or iron. Too late at night to get. Bed coverings and pillows were very wrinkled.

Rather happy with my stay. Room was clean and comfortable, if somewhat small and simple. Great location for the price. Staff was friendly and helpful and the tropical themed central pool area was very unique.

A small motel a block from the beach with great privacy, a nice clean pool, picturesque landscaping, and beautiful foliage! This is THE PERFECT beach getaway! Whether business or pleasure, romance or kids, long term or just 1 night. Our room was very clean and quaint, A/C was great. Limited kitchen space, but a fridge & microwave, and plenty of outdoor seating. Our neighbor said he had been coming here for 15 years! If you stay here once, you will not try another! Walking distance (a few blocks) from downtown Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, which has great beaches, food, drinks & music whether you are with your bro's or your family. A great value, with easy parking and on the bus routes as well. My only complaint is that the check-in process could be a little more secure.

Great little hideaway location. Shaded pool area, COLD a/c unit in room. Friendly staff. Parking provided. Easy, quick access to beach. Close to shopping and dining.
